New online store and use black hat to bring lots of sales
-
I have one online store and all the seo rules are follow to increase ranking and sales.
Buying a new url a launching a new store ( to sale exactly the same products) is fast, easy and cheap.
How about using black hat to this new store? I think I have nothing to loose. Is there something I should know before moving ahead?
Launching a new store is very cheap and black hat can be done by one of those overseas company at low prices
First thing, this new store should not link to my actual store I guess.
Any advice?
Thank you,
BigBlaze

I second ReferralCandy Black Hat is littering. don't

Using black hat SEO for a small store is kind of like littering- it seems harmless, but it's a part of the problem.
Please don't do it. It's just ugly, deceitful and everybody is worse of for it. Search engines are getting smarter by the day, and they'll find you and punish you for it. Why not just do it the decent, responsible and respectful way? Don't support these underground industries.

This is a thing I have been thinking of myself. More for a bit of fun and to see how it is done.

ok I agree with lesley idea. One of the key point is you have to buy domain in other name. This is really important Godaddy and many other domain sellers share a large amount of data with Google so you need to be really careful about making this choice.
I do suggest you to think about one thing. This about these two options.
Flying in area and crashing down
OR
Go up consistently step by step.

While I am not opposed to the idea, I would make a few considerations. I would make sure that nothing is linked between the two sites. Make sure your ssl certificate is filled out in a different company name with a different address. Buy the domain in another name as well. It could be a fun experiment, but one thing I would highly advise against is using negative SEO. It seems like more and more people are including that in their black hat strategy these days, but just don't do it.

Is there any SEO impact to using "www" vs. non-"www" preferred domain name?
My client has been using "www" with his domain and before I took over, has used it in marketing etc. I typically don't use "www" in my wordpress setup, and set non-www as the preferred domain in google analytics and google search console. Does it make any difference? Especially when www resolves to non-www? I appreciate some guidance with this.

New Service/Product SEO and rankings
Hello, fellow MOZers. We are a web design company, and we had SEO as secondary service for years. Due to changes in the company we started pushing SEO as one of our main services about 6 monhs ago. We have separate page , targeting that service, as well as case studies, supportive information pages, even SEO Center, which is like a blog about SEO only. We are not using black hat SEO, doing honest link earning and building, don't use keyword stuffing, everything is by the book. I understand that SEO takes time, especially for a company which has a footprint as web design company, not as SEO company. We are ranking very good for web design related keyphrases, however, we don't see any improvements for SEO related keywords. It always was and is between 25-30 SERP. At the same time, competitors, who are ranking on first page for SEO related phrases are pretty bad looking. Design-wise as well as blackhat-SEO-wise. Everything is keyword stuffed, UX is horrible, prices are ridiculous. So, do you guys have any thought/advise on how we can see results / why we are not seeing results. Are Links from blogs with person using keyword anchor text a Penguin 2.0 issue?
Hello, I am continuing a complete clean up of a clients link profile and would like to know if Penguin is against links from blogs with the user including keywords as anchor text? So far I have been attempting to get them removed before I go for a disavow. An example would be the work clothing comment at the bottom of: http://www.fashionstyleyou.co.uk/beat-the-caffeine-rush.html/comment-page-1 I am also questioning if we should keep any link directories, so far I have been ruthless, but worry I will be losing a hell of a lot of links. For example I have kept the following: http://www.business-directory-uk.co.uk//clothing.htm Your comments are welcomed!

Black Hat? Is it really possible my new client paid someone to SEO the word "here"?
I just took on a client and first thing I saw in Webmaster Tools was the dreaded "Unnatural Link Patterns" message dated Apr 7th, 2012. MajesticSEO is reporting 212 backlinks, OSE is reporting 251. Nothing out of the ordinary, in fact they only anchor text is their brand. However, we then ran an SEO PowerSuite Crawl and found 429 backlinks with 78.1% of links use the anchor text "here" and 77.9% of all links point to the same URL. If this is indeed true I can see why they got the message from Google. The company has admitted they hired a service to do SEO for $299/mo for several months but when they saw no results they quit. Could this company really have gone after "here". It not, I can't find anything that would give them the message they got from Google Webmaster Tools.

New layout looks funny with JS disabled - long vertical line up of products(Perhaps important keywords/ content in new layout appears way down?)
Lot of 'clunk' has been removed (bits of text, links, images, etc) Thanks for checking this out.0 -
Is a directory like this white hat? Useful?
This is one of my competitor's backlinks: http://bit.ly/mMPhmn Prices for inclusion on this page go from $50 for 6 months to $300 for a permanent listing. Do most of you guys do paid directories like this for your SEO Clients? My gut is telling me to run away...but I don't want to miss a good opportunity if I should be taking it.
