Address not recognized in Yahoo Local

Hey everyone,
I'm working with a client to get their Yahoo listing all setup. The problem is that they're located in a fairly new industrial complex that looks like it hasn't been added to Yahoo's map data. I'm unable to create a listing for them because Yahoo doesn't recognize the address as valid.
How long does it take for Yahoo to update their map data for newly constructed areas? Is there anyway to speed to process along (maybe something similar to Google Map Maker where users can suggest updates)?
Does anyone know any workarounds or solutions for a problem like this?

Thanks for the help, Chris and Mariam! Through the link that Chris shared, I ended up at https://mapreporter.navteq.com which looks to be Yahoo's version of Google Map Maker. This looked really promising at first until I realized that you can't make any edits in the United States (see attached image). In fact, you can't make any edits in any major country throughout the world. Le sigh.
I ended submitting a request to the Yahoo Local support team about what to do in a situation like this. I'll follow up here again if I ever hear back from them.

I have not personally had to deal with a situation like yours in relation to Yahoo. Chris has made a good suggestion. I'll add this link:
I would try signing into the client's account from there and see if you can get direct contact with Yahoo that way. Sorry not to have a better solution, but I don't have enough practical experience with a brand new building + Yahoo maps. If you do get through and get a response from their team, I'd appreciate it if you return here with an update. Good luck!

Hello,Looking in the map section of the yahoo map if you select the cog there is a suggestions area which leads to the following page - http://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/186490-us-maps
I presume this ties into the local listing and no idea on time scale for this and would recommend getting in touch with yahoo for the listing more direct if possible.

Hi all, I am just setting up a local organic garden maintenance business in my home town. I have set up the website, got social media accounts active (FB, Twitter and G+), set up google local listing (currently 5th in the local maps thingy), I have done loads of citations (many more than my competitors, but not a ridiculous amount), I've got 4 customer reviews on google so far, checked my DA against my competitors (mine 1, my comps 8-9), checked my comps links (less than 10) and been writing a blog on my website every couple of days. I realise the one thing I have against me is that my domain is just less than a month old. How long until google builds a bit of trust in it to see it come up in the serps? Also, I would love some ideas of what else I can be doing in the mean time. The idea here is to get the site rocking on all cylinders before the gardening season starts again in March. Do-able?

Multiple Vacation Rentals Local Listings
A client of ours is a vacation rental company with over 50 properties (each property is only marketed through this company). They recently asked if they could add each rental property as a listing in Google Places, Bing, Yahoo, etc. I've been doing research on whether this is advisable or can hurt them in some way. Hello, All of my citations addresses have the street address 913 S. Latah Street except there are other businesses in this building with the same address. Should I have included "Room H"? Also, is "S." different than "South"? Is "St." different than Street? Looking for correct consistent citations.

Has anyone created a top (Insert # Here) list of local business listing sites?
Has anyone created a top (Insert # Here) list of local business listing sites we should manually submit to? I have around 20 or so but I was wondering if someone could give me a list to cross reference. I have quite a few local business that I work with and I want to make sure I'm hitting all of the main local listings. I also spend time searching for niche listing sites too for each client, so if you have any suggestions on easier ways to find these as well, I'm game. Is there an easy way to see how competitive a local search term is?
Is there a quick and easy way to see how competitive local search terms are? I am looking at helping my clients show up on the local search results. Some times all I have to do is claim a listing and they move right to the top. Sometimes I claim a listing and nothing happens so I get links and I get reviews and it takes awhile. I want to be able to put an accurate price point on the service I am offering. I have looked at the search volume and it hasn't been the best indicator because some industries are more competitve than others. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
