Headers question (H1,H2..)
-
Solved, thank you!

Sounds like nonsense to me, do they give any evidence to back this up?
I cant see how you can dilute a keyword, besides linking out with the keyword.
The reason people like to keep to one keyword per page, is that there is only one page title, one H1(should be only one), one url, not because more then one will dilute the other, and especially in your case, I cant see how the same keyword can dilute itself.
Don't keyword stuff of cause, but you are far from doing that. -
You have all of three H tags on that page... I wouldn't worry about dilution. Personally though I would alter the H2 slightly instead of duplicating the H1 but I highly doubt you'd hurt yourself if you didn't change it.

I wouldn't worry about the same H2 tag. Usually I do a slight variation for my H2, or use some additional filler words. But I see nothing wrong with what you have.
Be interested if anyone has differing views though.

Does the targeted keyword need to be embedded in a longer phrase for the H1 and H2 or is it better to have the keyword by itself?

Ecommerce question - overoptimisation
Hi there, I'm the owner of this site http://goo.gl/76Mrbd and I have a newbie question We have a large number of vintage clothing items, and for SEO purposes I would like to rank for keywords "vintage insert designer name". I've been titling all our items with the phrase "vintage insert designer skirt/dress/pants etc" - but I've noticed that when we google these phrases - an example being "vintage moschino" we don't rank for them at all, despite the fact that each individual page gets a decent "page optimisation score" for that particular keyword. Many people have suggested to me that the reason this is so is because we're using the keyword too much on our site, but I can't get my head around how to fix this. What would be the best way to restructure our product descriptions so that we can fix this? Thanks in advance

How will it effect SEO to have multiple h1 tags on a page?
I have a client who recieved this advice from his marketing consultant: "If there are multiple h1 tags on a page, this can confuse Google and it may have a negative impact on the keyword rankings. If you could ask your web developer to go in and remove the h1 tags on the header images that would be helpful. This way it will be easier for Google to index your site and will help your keyword rankings." How will it effect SEO to have multiple h1 tags on a page?

I have a question about on page links or duplicate contant
Ok help me out here friends. I’m working with the warnings and errors for my site. I have two problems that relate to each other and I want to know if you had to choose what problem what would you choose. I’m running into some duplicate content and title errors because under categories for my products there are so many products that it creates more than one page and with each new page it has the same title or same content on the page. I tried to make this less in some cases by showing more products per page like 100 items and in most cases per category it will only show one page now. Now some times there’s still more than one page and also this creates too many links now on that category page. So I think I can get rid of all the to many on page links but it will make more pages and duplicate content and title tag. What would you guys do?
