"Sorry! We weren't able to find that page when we crawled your site." Please help!

Can someone please explain whey I am getting this error for this link "http://lensoutloud.com/san-antonio-real-estate-photography/" when I attempt to perform an on page SEO grading? The link is indexed and ranking very well but for some reason Moz says it can't find the page when it crawled my site.
This has also happened when I attempt to grade other pages on my site.
Thanks in advance!

Richard, you're absolutely right, it shouldn't be working that way. I've notified our help team so that we can make sure our engineers are looking into this.

Cyrus,
HI Ok I get the fact that On-Page Optimisation is for want of a better word an analytics report at a given point in time. ie x Pages are ranked position #x. "I do however find it amsing that pages with "F" actually rank position 1/2 as opposed to pages with "A's" that rank position 8+" .
But for the Add & Manage Page Grade I would assume that this area is for user input. I pick a page and a keywords from my list and grade accordingly . Instead I have a delete button that deletes nothing no matter how many times i press it. I have a "Optimise" "for Keyword" inputs that do not add anything to the Pages to Optimise list. And I have a list populated with 9 random pages all graded F for keywords that are not the keywords that the pages should be targeting as I have not worked on these pages at all.
In short I have no control of anything on this section of the dashboard...

Hi Richard,
Sorry for your frustration. If there's anything I can do to help, feel free to email me personally at cyrus at moz.com (or our help team at help at moz.com). In the meantime, here's some things you can try:
1. To run an on-page report immediately, you can use the stand-alone on-page grader (no waiting) http://moz.com/researchtools/on-page-grader
2. You can manage which URLs/Keywords Moz Analytics runs under the Add and Manage Page Grades (screenshot)
Hope this helps, even if only a little. In the meantime we appreciate the feedback.

Apparently there are bugs to be ironed out in the system and some crock about having to wait up to a week for reports to show up !!! What SEO on a time delay???
For adding new reports, when you manually generate the report, it does tell the system to begin tracking that URL and keyword combination, but it may not show up in your list of tracked reports until the next report update on your account. If the new reports you have created haven't updated to your list by the end of the week, please let me know and we will look into it further for you.
Ah well as for this I'm off to webceo as their system does what I ask and usually within 1 hour not wait a week!! Another great line I got on an email from Moz is this;
The reports you are seeing that you did not add are being automatically generated by our system based on which URL is ranking the highest for that keyword. The thought is that you would want to optimize a page that is already ranking for a term.
EH NO!!! this is a new site and keywords have not been assigned either by the client or me to target yet. I thought this was my job with aided by a tool such as page grade. I do not need MOZ to guess my SEO strategies for me!!!!

Cyrus, same issue here. I cant add a page to grade in "Add & Manage Page Grades" neither in "On-Page Grade"
-
Mmmm... When I tried the URL, I couldn't replicate the problem. (see the screenshot)
If you continue to have problems running the on-page grader, don't hesitate to let the Moz Help Team know by emailing [email protected]
thanks!

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem trailing with and without a trailing slash. What I also find strange is 2 previous pages that were added a month ago appear for 2 seconds with the option to delete and suddenly lump to a page with the following message. ie I have zero control of the page grade area for previous URI added. I am going to see if this is a Firefox issue by trying out other browsers to see if i get the same errors...
We did not find a page ranking in the top 50 for any of your tracked keywords. If you have recently added new keywords to track, it may take up to a week to see your keyword information, including your on-page grades.

Hi there,
Please try again by removing the trailing slash at the end of the URL. It should be good.
So the URL should be:
http://lensoutloud.com/san-antonio-real-estate-photography
Hope that helps my friend.
Best,
Devanur Rafi

Moz says "Title Too Long", Yoast says title is the perfect length. Who's right?
For a bunch of my pages, the MOZ Crawl Report says "Title Too Long". Yoast on my site tells me that the titles are the correct length. How can these two things be at odds with each other? Which one is right?

"Keywords Showing" total doesn't match "Tracked Keywords" total
My "Tracked Keywords" total under "Add & Manage Keywords" does not match the total for "Keywords Showing" on the main "Rankings" tab. Why is there a difference? For example, I have 453 tracked keywords attached to my campaign, but under the "Tracked Keywords Overview," there are only 254 listed. I'm sure there's a simple explanation but I can't find it anywhere!

Www.site.com linking to pages www10.site.com
The root domain of the website in question is www.site.com but all subpages are on the subdomain www10.site.com (I'm pretty sure it's a subdomain, at least, used for load balancing?). A funny thing happens on this site with the moz toolbar. I visit a subpage, www10.site.com/articles/articletopic1 That page has a lot of links on it, all of them visibly going to the subdomain www10.site.com. However, the moz toolbar shows some of them as Internal links and most of them as External links. As far as I can tell, there is no real rhyme or reason to the difference between the links that are highlighted as Internal vs. External. The link structures vary greatly: Some are properly structured www10.site.com/blogs/category
Moz Bar | | Motava
And some are poor like www10.site.com/articles/show_articles.php?section=category1 So a couple questions here: Does this subdomain www10 have a detriment on the rankings of subpages?
What could possibly cause the internal links on these subpages to be highlighted as external pages with the moz toolbar?1 -
My product pages have no weight / links from root domains with the Moz tool bar
Hi, When I view my home page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk) with the Moz toolbar, I see a good PA and a good amount of links from root domains. As I go down the site, it seems to get worse. The category pages (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Category/0/Straight_Foods.html) have a little but not much and then from this point onwards, it's nothing. The product page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods~Sunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html) is reporting to have no root domain links but I am not sure why. Interestingly, when I click through to a review page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/StockReview/0/SUNH/0/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html) it does have some juice. Would anyone be able help on why this is happening and what I need to be looking at in order to resolve it please? EDIT: I've been looking at the hyperlinks and notice something odd. If I review the score with the first link below, it gives a score of 1, but the second gives a PA of 13 with one root domain linked. 1:http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods~Sunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html 2:http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods%7ESunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html Please note the "%7E" instead of the "~" in the URL. The browser appears to show the ~ character no matter what but the rank of the page changes. I don't understand what the Moz toolbar is doing with this. Note: This behaviour only happens in Mozilla Firefox, in chrome both the rankings are zero for each URL. Many Thanks.

How do you feel when Moz marks one of your questions as "answered?"
Hi everyone, This is not meant to be snarky at all, so I just want to preface my question with that. So, since the new re-branded Moz rolled out last year, I'm sure many of you have noticed that if you ask a question and it is answered by a Moz associate, your question is marked as "answered." I'm sorry, but I don't like this. Here's why, I'm the one who asked the question. I should be the one who determines if the answer was adequate for me, or if it didn't sufficiently answer my question. This is particularly true when my question doesn't have to do with a customer service issue or a Moz tool question. If I ask a question about SEO, Content, CRO, marketing or any other subject, I feel like it should be me and only me who determines whether or not I feel like my question is answered. In addition to this, Moz is actually depriving themselves of useful UGC by shutting down questions in this way. How? Because when the rest of us who frequent the Q & A see a question that's already been marked as "answered" we tend not to open it, read it and respond, because we think that person has already gotten what they needed....when in fact, it could be that a Moz associate has jumped in and marked their question as answered when it really wasn't. Consequently, we all miss out. I propose/move that Moz associates can only mark questions as "answered" when they pertain directly to Q & A about Moz tools, service and support. All other questions must be marked as "answered" only by the asker or closed as "answered" after they have been dormant for 6 months or more. Can I get a second (motion) ?

Crawl Test cannot be seen on my PC. Using Windows 8.
I received and downloaded my Crawl Test. When I try to open it, my pc says "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher". I'm running Windows 8. Can I view my Crawl Test with my PC? Is there a work-around for this issue? Update I can apparently open my Crawl Test and view it as an Excel Spreadsheet. But when I download it and choose Save As, it saves it as a MS-DOS Application. This is my very first Crawl Test and I am not sure if I am doing everything right.

Moz Crawl Test: Referrer is sitemap.gz?
Hi,
Moz Bar | | Titan552
I'm looking at a crawl test report, and I'm seeing that most of the pages have the sitemamp.gz file listed as the referrer. As I recall in my other reports the referrer is usually the root domain - unless of course there's a redirect. Does having sitemap.gz as the referrer indicate a problem? If so, what problem does it indicate? Thanks!0
