-
Hi everyone!
I know this is is not the standard SEO question, but I hope you can help me with your knowledge.
I set some goals in GA for the thankyou page that appears when a client requests more information on a property for sale. Problem is I have been testing them and the goals don´t get registered. I don´t know what am I doing wrong and I would really appreciate if you could help me through some light on this.
I have attached an image of the option for the goal in GA.
Can anybody help me?

Thanks for all your answers!
Yes the code was missing. We have fixed it now and it works like a charm

As previously stated this is because your Google Conversion Code isn't present in this page. This code is generated on the when you setup the Conversion Tracking - this code is then copied and pasted into the appropriate page and will look something like:
<script type="text/javascript">// script> <script src="[http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion.js](view-source:http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion.js)" type="text/javascript"> script> <p><noscript> ![](http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/1234567890/?label=xXxXxXxXxXxxxX_gM&guid=ON&script=0)
noscript>p>

There doesn't appear to be any analytics tracking code on the page you are trying to track?
-
Do you not need
or similar in? Basically it looks like your analytics script is incomplete and you need trackPageview.
Bit busy just now but if this doesn't point you in the right direction I'll come back later this afternoon to diagnose further

Thanks for your answer Ryan.
This is the url: http://www.inmonova.com/en/request-more-info
I checked if it was .html but it isn´t.
Any ideas?

Can you give us a link to your request-more-info page?
What I am looking for is whether the page is actually request-more-info.html.

How is Google Analytics defining page depth?
We run two websites and as part of our KPIs we are treating those who visit 3 or more pages of our website as a client served. As a digital team we are not convinced that this is the best metric to use as the improvements we are making to the sites mean that people are able to find the information quicker. Additionally other organisations including forums etc link to us so those users will get the info they need in one click. What I would like to know is how Google calculates page depth in GA. Are they treating the landing page as ground zero and then when users clicks a link they go one page deep? Or is the landing page, page depth 1 . Is page depth a measure of how many clicks a user needs to find their information?

No-indexed pages are still showing up as landing pages in Google Analytics
Hello, My website is a local job board. I de-indexed all of the job listing pages on my site (anything that starts with http://www.localwisejobs.com/job/). When I search site:localwisejobs.com/job/, nothing shows up. So I think that means the pages are not being indexed. When I look in Google Analytics at Acquisition > Search Engine Optimization > Landing Pages, none of the job listing pages show up. But when I look at Acquisition > Channels > Organic and then click Landing Page as the primary dimension, the /job pages show up in there. Why am I seeing this discrepency in Organic Landing pages? And why would the /job pages be showing up as landing pages even though they aren't indexed?

Google Analytics showing discrepancy in Geo data
My site is related to UAE and the Gulf region. An year ago, Google Analytics abruptly started showing high incoming traffic from USA (Visits grew from 50k/month to 500k/month) while the overall traffic was stagnant. An year down the line, this has now been reverted back to normal nos and the overall traffic is still maintained. What could be a possible explanation for this discrepancy? Since this reversal has also now boosted traffic nos for other countries, should we rely on this data? Or is it polluted?

How do I manually add transactions to Google Analytics
We are seeing Google Analytic's drop transaction on our site so therefore all the figures are skewed. Is there a way I can manually add transactions to GA to cover the missing one?

Has anyone experienced Google Analytics track the page visit to a "thank you" page, but not the goal conversion?
Has anyone experienced where Google Analytics would track the page visit to a "thank you" page, but not the goal conversion that should result? The goal had worked for a long time as it is as just a goal url with head match. No funnel. Not case sensitive. For about four days now, no conversions have been recorded, but Google Analytics shows hundreds of people visited the page that should trigger the goal. Additionally, we have received the hundreds of leads. A Screaming Frog search shows the code is embedded throughout the site. For the interested, the GA code looks like (and the 8 Xs are the correct number on the site): Am I missing something?

Advanced Segment on Google Analytics
Hello there, hope everyone is allright and rockin' the SEO world 🙂 Was wondering if anyone could give a tip on how to configure an 'Advanced Segment' on Google Analytics. Basically I need to isolate traffic for 4 specific subfolders. E.g. www.mywebsite.com/solutions/A www.mywebsite.com/solutions/B www.mywebsite.com/solutions/C www.mywebsite.com/solutions/D/part1 Please note that the website has more pages under the specific section. E.g www.mywebsite.com/solutions/Z www.mywebsite.com/solutions/D/part2 but I only need to isolate the 4 directories (and their own sub-folders) mentioned above. Any idea how I could do this? Thanks a lot Joe

Cross domain tracking setup in Google Analytics
I really need help on this, I can't figure it out. I need to track a few subdomains and and couple of seperate domains in one profile in Google Analytics. So I have: www.maindomain.co.uk sub1.maindomain.co.uk sub2.maindomain.co.uk www.anotherdomain.co.uk So the code I have placed on all of these domains is as following: I have then set up seperate profiles which filter out the data by domain. E.g. for sub1.maindomain.co.uk, I have user the fitler: Custom filter > Include > Filter Field = Hostname > Filter Pattern = sub1.maindomain.co.uk For the www.anotherdomain.co.uk, I have used the same filter. Now this all seems to be tracking visits and unique visitors okay, but I always have a very low pageview count, less than visits and sometimes zero. Could anyone shed any light on what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance mozzers.
