Spanish Ranking Tool
-
Is there a tool (other than Moz) that people can recommend where I could check rankings from Spanish speaking countries such as Mexico and Colombia?
Thanks!

Hola Sara,
apart AWR, there are tons of tools in the market that let you monitor rankings for Spanish speaking countries.
Aleyda Solis just released a new über useful site all dedicated to SEO Tools, and at this link you can find a quite comprehensive list of rank tracking tool.
Of the ones Aleyda mentions, I personally used Authority Labs and PositionLy, which both are great tools, very powerful, offering a nice understandable layout and - obviously - they let you monitor rankings in every country.

You could look at AWR 's (Advanced Web Ranking) software. I use it and it's awesome for tracking and reporting. Has the largest search engine depth for reporting (add any search engine you want/need) and product support will help you get it if they don't have it! It can be tailored to track any language KW needed and in any country. Reporting is awesome if you buy the PRO or AGENCY level software (I included the link above), but does require a little time to learn. It's costly as well, but proves to be a tool I can't operate without in my practices for client projects.

Should I concentrate keyword ranking locally or nationally?
Hi all, I have spent few last days reading here in community and watching Moz videos about keyword research. I used keywords planner tool. Here is the question. When I researched keywords I took into account search traffic nationwide UK rather then my local search volume. My photography business operates more for local customers rather then nationwide. Does it mean that I need to concentrate on my local city/region search volume rather then nationwide. After I have done Nationwide keyword research I realised that most of those keywords which are with really high search volumes are pretty much non existent in my local search results. I meant to the point that keyword search volume is under 10. Considering that I have small number of pages i could use them for, my guess is that it is no point to target those high search volume keywords as most likely those won't be my clients anyway. I might be getting all this wrong, but wanted to ask here. Thank you all, Regards, Armands

Ranking a homepage for keywords
We recently found a handful of keywords we would like our homepage to rank for (for example - customer experience). On our homepage we have articles (4-5 posted daily) that feature the keywords we are targeting (one being customer experience). How do the keywords we are using in our daily articles that are posted to the homepage affect the overall keyword ranking for the homepage? In other words do the keywords used in the articles (title, first 2-3 paragraphs, meta description, etc.) all roll up/build up to the homepage's keywords or how does that work?

Understanding the Rankings report: Visits - what timeframe?
I just setup a new site in MOZ, rankings have run on 200+ keywords for two weeks. The report shows 14 visits for the keyword "google backup". Is that 14 visits since the last crawl or 14 visits all time since I have been tracking that keyword within Moz? Thanks!

3 monitoring tools are giving me the simular SERP ranking position but manual searching and traffic are telling me something different. What gives?
I have looked up SERP position in 4 different tools, 3 out of the 4 (Raven, SEO Moz, and Google webmaster tools) are telling me that the site is ranking in the 90s range. When I manually search for the term (when I'm logged out), the site lists on the 1st pages. I also see it listed as the #9 spot when I use SEO Books Rank Checker. Last month, Google webmaster says that the term got us 200 impressions. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks
