Having javascript in the top of the source code
-
Dear Moz-community,
In our company, we are torn about the influence of having a ton of javascript on the top of our source code - while our Tech guys are downplaying it's influence, us marketeers aren't quite sure. The link is here: view-source:http://www.bettingexpert.com/tips/football/italy/serie-a
It is the javascript that is loaded right after the
Would this be a problem with Google?
Thank you very much,

Googlebot crawl error Javascript method is not defined
Hi All, I have this problem, that has been a pain in the ****. I get tons of crawl errors from "Googlebot" saying a specific Javascript method does not exist in my logs. I then go to the affected page and test in a web browser and the page works without any Javascript errors. Can some help with resolving this issue? Thanks in advance.

Handling Pages with query codes
In Moz my client's site is getting loads of error messages for no follow tags on pages. This is down to the query codes on the E-commerce site so the URLs can look like this https://www.lovebombcushions.co.uk/?bskt=31d49bd1-c21a-4efa-a9d6-08322bf195af Clearly I just want the URL before the ? to be crawled but what can I do in the site to ensure that these errors for nofollow are removed? Is there something I should do in the site to fix this? In the back of my mind I'm thinking rel-conanical tag but I'm not sure. Can you help please?

What are best options for website built with navigation drop-down menus in JavaScript, to get those menus indexed by Google?
This concerns f5.com, a large website with navigation menus that drop down when hovered over. The sub nav items (example: “DDoS Protection”) are not cached by Google and therefore do not distribute internal links properly to help those sub-pages rank well. Best option naturally is to change the nav menus from JS to CSS but barring that, is there another option? Will Schema SiteNavigationElement work as an alternate?

CSS Float Top Left Image not displaying
Using CSS/HTML in Dreamweaver CC, I am trying to display a SEO friendly matrix of six images wide by three deep on the Home Page, but cannot get the first (top left) image to display consistently. The page appears correctly in Dreamweaver Design View, but not in the Live View. Equally it works fine in Safari, but not in Firefox nor I.E. I seem to have tried every CSS variation to resolve this issue, without success. Can someone stear me in the right direction, please? The relevant HTML Code ... GWMT -- Top URLs for keyword is not the homepage
Hi Everyone - In google webmaster tools, in the Content Keywords section, when I click on a link of all of my top keywords they display a single "Top URLs". The URL which they display is not my homepage but a random category landing page of our e-commerce website. Should I be worried about this? Does this suggest that google is ranking this one URL ahead of our homepage?

Should WordPress themes be hard coded for better SEO?
In the interests of making my site faster I have recently come across the suggestion of removing unwanted PHP from my WooThemes WordPress theme. The suggestion is to hard code the choices I have made in the WordPress template to reduce on database calls. Has anyone actually done this to their WordPress theme before and seen any measurable results?

Optimizing a website which uses JavaScript and jQuery
Just a quick question (or 2) If I have divs which are hidden on my page, but are displayed when a user clicks on a p tag and the hidden div is displayed using jquery a user clicks on an a tag and the hidden div is displayed using jquery with the href being cancelled in both examples, will the hidden content be optimized, or will the fact it is initially hidden make it harder to optimize? Thanks for any answers!
