Is linkdetective.com officially dead? Does anyone know of any inexpensive tools that we can use to classify link types, e.g. resource link, blogroll, sidebar, etc. for link building?

Hi, we have been putting links to our website www.caffeinemarketing.co.uk from other sites we are connected to. Although these sites are up and running and have been crawled, the links are not showing up on mot. What else do I need to do? Is it anything to do with whether I put http://www. or just www. Link quality

Hi, Having read dozens of your blogs and found them highly informative, i have to ask a question. I am kicking oout our SEO company and have taken over the SEO myself with some excellent results. Our SEO providers tell me that links from any site (irrelevent of their DA) are good, providing they are comming from a relevant source. We are in the security industry and according to MOZ, we have a DA of 52. If i can get a link to our site from another company in our industry but they have a DA of 10, is this really beneficial for me? Info i have read in Moz blogs suggest it is n ot a good idea. Paying for a Link

I realize it is bad to pay for a link but is it bad to pay for a link on a page that ranks you 1 to 10 againist your competitor, shows a screen shot of your and lists Pros and Cons of your site? Is this sort of paid link different somehow?

When removing links should I be worried about bad links from websites that have already been deindexd from Google or should I think that since it is not in these index any more it cant do harm?

If external linking passes juice, why not just nofollow all external links?

Hi guys! You must get many questions about external links... This is mine. If I get an external link with good authority ranking in google, but it is not relevant to the site (for example, my site is about marquees, but we could get links from schools, which are our main clients, or any type of client) Does that affect negatively somehow to the rankings? or there is good value on it even is not related?
