Internal links are not indexed of the website
-
Some internal links are indexed and some not of the same page of the website, what is the so and what is the reason behind?
-
Thanks for the answering but i am not exactly getting your 3 check points, can you please explain it again?
-
Hi,
In this case, it could be duplicate content, as both pages are practically the same, are you getting any warnings in Search Console about duplicate content?
Indexing comes under 3 main (simplified) checkpoints,
- Can Google get to the page?
- Is the link followed?
- Is the link high enough up the page that the spider will follow it? - Is the content worth it to Google to index?
Kind Regards
Jimmy
- Can Google get to the page?
-
Hello,
I would add one more checkpoint in above described by Alick300. you should check whether 'nofollow' is not added with link anchor tag.
Thanks,

Hi,
First you should check whether those pages that are not indexed blocked by the Meta Robots Tag or Robots.txt. If that is not the case you can do following things to get indexed those pages.
1>Submit your website URL to Google by signing into your Google Account and going to the Submit URL option in Webmaster Tools (Google search console). For extra credit, submit your site to Bing.
2>Fetch as Google - On Google Webmaster Tools (Google search console) you have the option to ask Google to crawl new pages or pages with updated content. This option is located under the Health section and is called Fetch as Google.
3>Update Xml sitemap
4>Get Inbound Links on those pages
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Sitemap include all site links or just ones we want indexed?
Got a quick sitemap question. We have a clients site built in opencart and are getting ready to submit the sitmap. The default sitemap setting generates urls right off of the root. For example site.com/product. These urls are also accessible through the site itself. We prefer to give the site some depth and have structured the products so the urls are site.com/category/product. All of the product pages have canonicals including the category so we should not have to worry about duplicate content on the /product page vs the /category/product page. My question is both types of product pages are included in the sitemap at the moment. Since we don't want google to index the /product urls should we leave them off of the sitemap even though they are readily accessible from the frontend(though not linked)? Or just leave them and let the canonical tag be used in directing google as to which urls to index. Thanks in advance.

How would you handle network header links?
Some companies have a lot of sites covering various topics, for example, http://ninemsn.com.au/. Each category also have dropdown menus where there are more links, taking their pages to well over 100 links. Should these headers be implemented in javascript? Is there a list of best practices somewhere when dealing with a lot of network sites? I'd prefer to reduce the number of links, but sometimes company policies don't allow this. Any suggestions or tips would be helpful.

Duplicate Links
Hello, I am entering sitewide navigation that will go to primary seo pages. This is really for usability, not for link juice. I'm wondering if I should still link to these very important pages in my index page's content. Or if I should consider those navigation links strong enough. If I did link in the content, then I would have more than one link to the same page on my home page. Thanks Tyler

What is the best way to make use of internal anchor text links without appearing to be a 'spammy' webpage?
I've recently been spending some time going through all the content on our website, henstuff.com, adding internal anchor text links to product copy with the link following back to the product's generic catagory. I've been focusing on the search term 'hen party accessories', but have also been using 'hen do accessories' and 'hen night accessories'. I know that internal linking has value when it comes to SEO and rankings, but was keen to find roughly at what point usage of a certain search term for anchor links is seen as spam by the engines. Is there a certain formula to follow when it comes to internal anchor text links? You can see some examples at: http://www.henstuff.com/hen-night-accessories/hen-party-accessories/willy-bubbles http://www.henstuff.com/hen-night-accessories/hen-party-devil-horns/hen-night-pink-devil-horns Many thanks Oli
