How to Find Competitors Traffic Sources
-
Is it possible to find out where traffic is coming from on someone else website?
-
I like SEMRush. They give a lot of data about both organic and paid search.
-
I think Similar Web is the best (closest to real data when compared to sites I have analytics on) and SEMrush is also valuable to get another dataset.
-
Hey Hall,
For this kind of analysis, I always recommend and personally use Similar Web. It gives you all the insights of traffic sources, last 6 months traffic stats, top referring sites and tons of other great info.
Hope this helps!

Hi Michael,
You are in right place. Use can use Moz Open site Explore ( OSE ) https://mza.seotoolninja.com/researchtools/ose/ to find more about your competitors link profile . Read more here : https://mza.seotoolninja.com/help/guides/research-tools/open-site-explorer.
Also you have other tool like "Ahrefs" - https://ahrefs.com/ which gives you even much sophisticated data . Hope it answers your question.

How to find a skilled SEO sparing partner
We are in need of a skilled SEO sparring partner to work with. We have already done a lot of SEO optimization but the results has not been as good as we hoped. I believe that might be some issues regarding structure or backlinks holding us back from getting results as I can see many competitors with almost no on page optimization or quality backlinks ranking better than us. I want to find someone who can audit our page find the problems. Also set some guidelines on what we should fix and work on to improve the overall rankings fast. Thanks!

Regular Expressions for Filtering BOT Traffic?
I've set up a filter to remove bot traffic from Analytics. I relied on regular expressions posted in an article that eliminates what appears to be most of them. However, there are other bots I would like to filter but I'm having a hard time determining the regular expressions for them. How do I determine what the regular expression is for additional bots so I can apply them to the filter? I read an Analytics "how to" but its over my head and I'm hoping for some "dumbed down" guidance. 🙂

How else to find backlinks for training site
Hello, How would you recommend finding and gaining backlinks for nlpca(dot)com other than looking at the top 10 competitors? Also, we could do an infographic but the owners don't have time to produce a lot of additional articles. Thanks!

Why traffic to my link has dropped suddenly?
Hi I would like to know why the traffic for the website link http://theindustrymeasure.com/2010/07/15/rediffmail-login has dropped suddenly on google.I used to get around 5000 page views on this page and then suddenly dropped to 15-20 . Traffic to other links are fine , only this page seems to have dropped off ever since the spam attack. As per seomoz tool I have a grade a for keyword rediffmail

Is My Competitor Beating Me With A Better URL Structure?
A competitor is consistently beating my website on non-competitive, long tail keywords. His DA is 32 compared to my 46. His average PA is 23 to my 28. His average On Page Optimization Grade is a C compared to my A. His page speed score using YSlow is a 71 compared to my 78. The only thing I can think of at this point is that he has a better URL structure. We both have the keyword in the URL, but his structure goes like this (keyword: apw wyott parts): www.competitor.com/apw-wyott/parts While mine goes like this (I had nothing to do with this site's architecture; this is what I'm stuck with for the time being): http://www.etundra.com/APW_Wyott_Parts-C347.html It should be noted that the last word in these keywords is always the same - "parts." These keywords are for parts by different manufacturers so they follow a consistent pattern: [manufacturer-name] followed by "parts." Also, the "C347" on the end of my URL is the category number given to this particular category of products in our database. Are his URLs beating me or should I continue to look for other factors? If so, what other factors should I consider?
