MOZ Local not recognizing listing in ranking - score should be higher
-
Hello
I have used MOZ local for a client in New York City. Since we set up MOZ Local for his practice MOZ keeps showing there is no Facebook page nor a hot frog listing. However both of these listings exist and are correct. Is there a way to show MOZ that these listings exist so the MOZ Rank can show the proper score/accuracy. He wonders why the score isn't higher but there isn't much I can do at the moment. Thanks!

Hi rosemontmedia
The check listing tool is a search tool, so it will rely on the response Facebook and Hotfrog provides when we are querying for the business information. Each time you generate a listing report, this is a live query. If no results are found, this means the data is not available in their respective API's. Hotfrog doesn't have the best API as many listings fail to appear in our searches. For Facebook, you will want to make sure their listing is setup as a local business page and has a couple of check-ins in order for the information to be available.
Hope this helps!

Unsolved Local Moz Listing Absent on Map for 7-Year-Old Business: Sockgeeks.co.uk
I'm facing an issue with the local Moz listing for my client's 7-year-old business at https://sockgeeks.co.uk Despite following best practices like GMB verification and NAP consistency, the business isn't showing on Moz Maps. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

Why are accuracy scores in the dashboard different than in the individual listing?
How come when I search for my location in the Moz Local dashboard, it shows me the Score and the Accuracy, but then when I click into the individual location and the accuracy score is much lower? Which one is the source of truth, and is the best to report to clients? I don't want to report on inflated numbers.

Local Search and Moz Local Question
I'm using Moz Local for a few clients right now with good results. Was talking to a friend about using it for one of her web clients and a new scenario came up. The client does waste management and has a dozen locations in/outside of a metro area. She's been "trying to get their listing on Google Maps" without luck. After some probing, it turns out their main address for operations is in the metro area they are targeting, but they don't have waste facilities there and wanted to prevent customers from coming there. They actually use a PO Box for their contact information on their website and make no mention of the main address. Looking to see if anyone agrees with my proposed solution: Claim Google My Business listing for the main address in the metro area they're trying to optimize for. Use Moz Local to clean up their main listing (after a quick check, it's a mess) for the operations address. Update website contact info to include the main operations address, and make specific mention of which other addresses customers should/shouldn't go to for dumping/picking up equipment. So, the recommendation would be one Moz Local account. I figure no need to do listing for all of their other locations since they're just waste facilities controlled by the main listing. Does this seem like a plan?

MozLocal Listing Results
Hi there, Within the last week, I've signed up for MozLocal with the intent of improving our listing score (we're currently listed at a 67%); I'm wondering how long it generally takes before I see any improvements to this score. Thanks!

Moz Local not recognizing my CSV Listing File After Multiple Attempts
I'm trying to get Moz local to recognize my csv file, and its not seeming to do so. I've tried using Google Spreadsheets, OpenOffice Calc, and have even used a Moz Local generator in Google Docs. I've tried this a dozen times now, and none of them seem to work, and leave me with the error -- We did not recognize the file type you uploaded. Please make sure the file you upload is in CSV (Comma Delimited) format. You may need to re-save or export the spreadsheet as a CSV. Please note that the column headers are required, and must not be changed. Feel free to use our template to fill out your listing info.

How long till Moz Local takes to populate?
It has taken me some time to make sure all fields were correct in order to upload the CVC file to Moz Local. Because I hope to use this tool for multiple clients, how long should I tell them to anticipate before the listings show up correctly? Is there a $49 charge per business site that I use Moz Local for? Is there a limit to how many sites I can do?
