Page title not being read
-
Hi all I have been testing my site with the Moz on page grader recently and every page seems to come up with the same issues. The keyword doesn't seem to be in the title tag or the title tag isn't there.
Could anyone tell me why this is?
This is an example of a page it is happening on https://www.sbat.com/tips/todays-free-horse-racing-tips
I used several versions of the Keyword including
free horse
Racing tips
Horse racing tips
and it seemed none of these were picked up.

Hmm, that is weird that they are not showing up. I would try submitting the URL into Google's URL submitter: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url
Hopefully by doing this, Google (and Moz) will index the correct title tags so when you use the Moz Page Grader it pulls the most accurate information.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for providing that additional information and I apologize for the delay.
I had a chance to look into this further and it looks like it is recognizing that you have these keywords in the Title, it's just making some additional suggestions around the placement of the keywords.
For example, when I ran a search in the On-Page grader for the URL https://www.sbat.com/tips/todays-free-horse-racing-tips and the keyword of "racing tips", the only thing it's returning a suggestion on is the placement of the keyword in the Title tag to be at the beginning. I also ran this same search in the Page Optimization tool within your campaign and the same suggestion came back there as well. It is recognizing that that keyword exists in the Page Title, however: http://screencast.com/t/04pn1vTDPUi and http://screencast.com/t/RQQDuo9CqF
I hope this helps! Please let me know if there's anything else I'm able to assist with.

This page should be crawled daily as it is updated daily. The title tags have been in the code for 2/3 months.
Thanks for looking though

Hi there - Kristina from Moz's Help Team here. It'd be helpful to know what keyword you were using to check your page with on the On-Page Grader in order to troubleshoot this for you. Can you update this post with that Keyword and I'll be happy to take a further look for you!
Thank you,
-Kristina -
How long ago did you add that title? That page was cached by Google today, and the title shows up in search results. If you added it recently maybe MOZ hasn't picked up the change yet.

MozBar: Page Title (and other data) inconsistent with HTML
In using the MozBar Chrome extension, I have noticed that the data about a page that MozBar displays is sometimes inconsistent with the "head" tag in the HTML of the page. Am I misunderstanding where MozBar is getting the data it is displaying? Other SEO extensions like "META SEO inspector"do not display these inconsistencies. EupH5sG

On-Page Grader giving wrong results for missing keyword in image Alt Attribute
I'm trying to optimize for the Keyword "River City Apartments" on this page: https://3fconstruction.net/case-studies/river-city-apartments-chicago-condo-deconversion-renovation/ When I use On-Page Grader to see how I'm doing it's telling me I'm missing the Keyword in the Image Alt Attribute. However, it's clearly in there. <strong>River City Apartments Aerial</strong> What am I missing?

On Page Grader - URL not accessible
We have tried to use the On Page Grader today and it is coming back with URL not accessible for all pages on our website. We previously used the On Page Grader on Friday 10th Nov for a couple of product pages with no issues. Since then, the only changes we have made on the websites is updating some downloadable documents. We have done this several times before and it has never affected Moz. We have not changed the page URLs, and therefore do not know why it is now not working. The pages are working fine on the website with no issues. A link to one of the pages is below. http://www.processinstruments.co.uk/products/dissolved-oxygen-monitor/ Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I keep getting a 429 Too Many Request error for a wp-login page on my website. Is there a way to prevent that from happening, or fix outside of redirecting on the back end of WordPress?
I have a client that keeps coming up with 429 Too Many Request critical crawl errors. I re-directed some of them on the back end of WordPress, but additional keep coming in. The URL has a WP-Login and directs to back end login section. Is there a reason that would come up as an error, how can I prevent it from happening again, and how can I fix the remaining current errors outside of redirecting back to /? Thanks, Kalyn Lengieza

Crawl Diagnostics: How many pages (deep) will it crawl for dup content
Does anyone know how deep the crawl diagnostics will crawl when searching for dup content? Will it crawl the entire site, or will it only crawl "x" amount of pages? Thanks!

Is it normal for my homepage's page authority to be higher than my domain authority?
Hi everyone, I've just been checking my MOZ authority scores, and the page authority of my home page, www.concerthotels.com is 53 (mozRank of 6.16) which seems pretty good to me. However, the domain authority is only showing as 45. Is this typical? There is such a big difference between these two scores - what does that suggest? Is there anything obvious that I can do to bring the domain authority up to the level of authority that the homepage commands? Similarly, the UK version of my site has a homepage authority of 41, but the domain authority is only 30. Looking at numerous other websites, quite often the homepage and domain authority scores are very similar, or the domain authority is slightly higher, so it does look as if this is unusual. Any comments would be greatly appreciated, Many thanks Mike

Have there been recent changes to the On-Page Grader tool?
I use this page all the time to grade my primary and secondary keywords and for four years now have consistently managed to achieve A-C grades for all. Today however, I noticed I am flagging F grades for 50% of the keywords. I do make a note of the initial grades for all pages (as the majority of the keywords I grade using the tool are NOT added/tracked in MOZ 'campaigns'). To make sure I wasn't going mad I went back and graded some keywords I had achieved A-C grades for just 6 days ago. The changes are as follows: keyword 1 initially graded an A - 6 days later is still an A keyword 2 initially graded C and is now graded as an F keyword 3 initially graded C and now an F keyword 4 initially a C grade and now an F keyword 5 initially a B grade and has remained a B. Out of interest I then went and added one of the keywords that is now graded an F (but last week was a C) into the 'Add and manage Page Grades' section and graded once again - it's now grading this as a C. I then removed this keyword from my tracked keywords and graded again using the 'On-Page Grader' tool and ... it's back down to an 'F'. Please could you shed some light on what's going on? I don't want to track each keyword I grade over time but I do want the parameters for grading to remain the same if I use the 'On-Page Grader' tool - what's changed? I haven't received any alerts about any changes to the tool so if anyone could shed some light on any changes I would appreciate it.

Duplicate page content/page titles on tages
Hello everyone. New to the community and loving it already. Question, I am receiving an error of 6 pages with duplicate content and page titles. A majority of these are tag pages. Should I be worried about these? IN the column listed duplicate urls it is listing 0 ( screen shot: http://screencast.com/t/azvuVk0ucWt) Are these tags a problem? Will SEO be hurt because of this? What are TAG pages? Actually pages, categories, should I eliminate these?
