you can see my domain is getting tons of chinese spam.
I have 410'd the page but it still keeps coming..

Hi Matt,
Google probably will ignore all of these - they are pretty good at recognising spam like this, but to err on the side of caution, start to disavow the spam sites as Nick said. It's fairly easy to do if you haven't done it before, but I know you can build a disavow file from within Ahrefs.

Thanks, but the only reason they got linked was through a hosting change we did, the files were dumped in the process, theres no issues on the file side internally. The main issue is that the anchors are so wacked out, its going to be hard to fix the balance.

First, I would check your site for hacked content. My guess is that would be the logical reason for them linking to your pages. Go to your file manager and look for strange folders or files with a recent modified date.
Next you will want to compile a list of all these links and send a disavow request through Google Webmaster tools. You can follow the steps here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2648487?hl=en
Sorry for the misfortune. Best of luck getting back on track.

Are backlinks the most important factor in SEO?
I have had an agency state that "Backlinks are the most important factor in SEO". That is how they are justifying their strategy of approaching bloggers. I believe there are a lot more factors than that including Target Market definition, Keyword identification an build content based on these factors. What's everyone's thoughts?

Iframe redirect bad for SEO?
Hi, I have a website (http://www.blowingminds.de) wich I put a spreadshirt shop into via iframe. The thing is I am not sure on how the iframe effects my SEO? Can I just optimise the main domain for search? Well I want the spreadshirt shop to be found under the domain name (www.blowingminds.de) but the only real way to do it is by implementing an iframe because each spreadshirt shop has its own subdomain eg.: blowingminds.spreadshirt.de but the only real way to do it is via iframe, as they do not offer a complete domain redirect. (Or have I overseen some other way?) I hope you guys can help me on this one 🙂 Thanks in advance. Malte

Any advice for setting up a Job Board?
Hi- I've got a big client who is setting up an in-house job board, ie. as part of their own site. They are a diverse company that offers a wide variety of roles across the whole country. The software they have chosen to use is not in any way SEO-focused. Therefore I'll need to recommend some modifications to the sitemap created by the web design team, within the time and budget available to me. At this stage I am thinking along the lines of determining the major geographical areas and job sectors and creating summary (landing) pages such as /jobs/california/electrical-engineering which contain any currently available roles for that geo+sector. I've tried to find guidance on job board SEO optimization or even case studies but haven't found much at all. This seems useful though: http://www.jobboardmount.com/cm/features/seo_dashboard Does anyone have any tips or links to useful information on job board SEO? Thanks in advance! Jules
