Tabassum, in order to claim your Google listing, you'll need to use Google My Business. There are services that will claim them for you, but you may want to make sure you have control over that particular listing, since Google is so important. Unfortunately there are services out there that will claim the listings for you, but once you stop paying them your listings will go away.
If you go with a third party service, make sure that you own the listings. Since other services were mentioned here already, such as Moz Local and Whitespark, I feel that it's okay to mention Advice Local, as well--which is our service.

Hi there
Definitely refer to the resource from Google that Alick300 posted in his answer. Once you get that taken care of, consider a resource like Moz Local or Whitespark to help you claim more listings across the web which help with organic visibility, as well as get you relevant backlinks!
Hope this helps! Good luck!

Google My Business - What is the best way to remove "Duplicate Address"? Help!
Google can be such a pain with managing listings - especially when you are an agency managing a client's listing! I am hoping someone can help with this... How do I permanently delete a “duplicate address?” In the Google My Business dashboard (classic view), under account summary – I click duplicate locations. From here, I can easily remove a duplicate location - that is not the issue. The issue is for duplicate addresses. For this, we only have the option to resolve address, which directs you to the business’ location details. Our options are then to: 1. Change the business NAP 2. Permanently close location 3. Remove the listing from your dashboard (removing it from dashboard doesn’t delete it from Google). We edited the business’ name, phone number, address and website – to try and make it a duplicate location, because if we are able to make it a duplicate location then we know we will have the option to **Remove Duplicate. **Nothing has changed though. We don't want to mark this as a permanently closed location because if somebody does come across the listing down the road it is going to be misleading. The business is not actually closed! Any insight would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

"Duplicate" on Google Local - Attorney and Business Listing
For our law firm, we have a Google Local listing for the firm (Riddell Law LLC). Google also created a local listing for one of the attorneys (Riddell) (we didn't create it, but are in the process of verifying it). Both listings are at the same address. Moz Local says these are "duplicates" - is that true? Would Google penalize us for this? I am not sure how to fix it - both the individual attorney and the business are in fact at the same address. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!!

Google Plus Pages for Doctors, SUPER confusing..help!
Hi Moz community, I carefully reviewed all info I could find and still cannot figure how to make this work. I am working for a medical practice that has 4 different office locations in my county. There are also 5-6 doctors and all of the doctors MOVE throughout the week from location to location. I know (from reading Google's exact guidelines) that they suggest creating a page for the doctor using only their name in addition to creating a page for each location. How do I set those doctor pages up? What location do I use? What contact info is okay to use etc? Super lost. Thanks all! Ricky

How to track google business traffic as organic into google analytics?
Hi mozzers, After noticing that all Google business(known in the past as google places) traffic gets recorded into direct traffic I would like to get this into organic traffic instead. What is the best method to do so? I found this great post http://moz.com/blog/tracking-traffic-from-google-places-in-google-analytics by Rebecca Lehmann but was written in 2011. Are these method the only one available to track this traffic or is there a new method we could try that would track all this traffic into organic search? Thanks for letting me know!

No access for UK Get listed and now Moz Local Alternatives to Moz?
Ive had a pro subscription now for quite sometime and it was a shame when Get Listed UK was removed, now Moz has released its Moz Local and thats also just for US customers. I presume UK and other countries are a low priority, so don't expect anything for us for the foreseeable future! Ive taken out a subscription for Whitespark, but is there an alternative to Moz that people know of that does support us poor UK people?

Google custom url options - Brand Name or Keyword
Hi All, Recently we were given the option to choose from two custom urls for a car dealership's G+ page:
Local Listings | | EEE3
+brandname
+locationdealershipbrand Made up example:
+scottford
+nyford My gut tells me to choose the +brandname option, but curious to see if anyone had any other input about how the "location + dealership brand" custom url choice could impact local search results, if at all. (I was surprised that it even came up as an option because to me it echoes EMDs...) Thoughts? Thanks!0 -
Google Plus Business (How to replicate categories from Places)- Advanced
I'm very familiar with local promotion. However, I work in some fairly competitive local markets and in most cases only a few dominant keywords are necessary for the client to perform well. With new clients who aren't grandfathered into the old places interface, I cannot setup custom categories. This is known to everyone, but what I would REALLY appreciate is if someone could explain how I can at least to some degree replicate that targeting? To put it in perspective, for the standard categories (through Google Plus Business) my client rank very well; thus you can assume the client's local strength is solid; but when it comes to the few specific terms I need, I can't see to replicate the effect. Please help... anyone! 🙂
