Crawler reporting incorrect URLs, resulting in false errors...
-
The SEOmoz crawler is showing 236 Duplicate Page Titles. When I go in to see what page titles are duplicated I see that the URLs in question are incorrect and read "/about/about/..." instead of just "/about/" The shown page duplicates are the result of the crawler is ending up on the "Page not found" page.
Could it be the result of using relative links on the site? Anything I can do to remedy?
Thanks for your help!

Hey Frank! This definitely sounds like an issue with relative links on the page; if the crawler sees it, he'll follow it, and continue to do so indefinitely, causing a super-long URL with the same sub-page listed over and over in the URL. I actually see this bug a fair amount. I'd recommend you look at your page code, try to find relative link tags, and then fix them on that side of things.
If you think it's a bug and nothing in your code, you can always send an email to us at [email protected] - we'll be able to take a look and make sure it's not a bug on our side (make sure to send your PRO email address, the campaign with the issue, the URL with the issue, and any relevant screenshots/examples to help us diagnose). In my experience, though, this is always because of a relative link I find in the source. If you need help with how to fix that, you may want to start another thread here in the Q&A and post your page's source or URL. Hope this helps!

Could my Crawl Error Report be wrong?
HI there, I am using Yoast SEO plugin on a wordpress website. I am currently showing 70 Med priority crawl errors 'missing meta description' on my Moz pro account. This number of missing meta descriptions has increased over the last 6 weeks. But every single page / post / tag / category has both the title and meta description completed via Yoast. I requested a google bot to crawl the site a few weeks ago as thought it perhaps wasn't been crawled and updated. Any idea what the issue might be? Could the Moz report be incorrect for some reason? Or could something be blocking Moz / Google from seeing the Yoast plugin?

What are the factors that have an impact on the google search results?
When I compare the ranking of my keywords with the Moz Rankings and my own search results I get different results even I use the google chrome incognito browser (not logged in, no cookies, no cache) and it's definitely the same country-setting (google.de) where the search is run. I double checked it with several browsers and computers, and I still get a different result as the Moz Ranking Tracker. The keyword is "schafkopf" and the site is www.sauspiel.de. The relevant country is Germany (www.google.de). Does anyone know the reason why the results differ? Could it be the search query was made from different countries/IPs? Any ideas, hints?

Site Not Indexing & SEOMoz Reporting ZERO On-Page Report Crawls
Any help on this would be MUCH appreciated. One of my sites, aironeairsolutionsinc.com, has recently been rebuilt and the pages tweaked for some basic optimization. Based on my experience, those tweaks (geared toward keywords with relatively low competition locally) usually bump my local sites up into the top 20 or 30 at worst. 3 weeks later, it seems my site is still not indexing with Google. In addition, I AM NOTICING THAT THE ON PAGE REPORTS IN SEO MOZ ARE NOT REGISTERING THAT ANY PAGES ARE BEING CRAWLED. Again, any help from Moz staff would be awesome! :} Thanks, Ricky

Why have I stopped receiving emails about crawl reports and rankings reports?
I used to receive emails weekly telling me a new crawl had completed and the reports were ready and also another email saying the new rankings and on page reports were ready to view - I am not getting these anymore. Does this mean these are still happening but I need to find them within the package or has something changed? Thanks

Broken links in the pdf of the On Page Report
Hi, I run an individual On Page report for a particular URL, then I export as pdf. The URL appears in the pdf and looks fine but when you click on it it goes to a 'page not found'. I know the URL is correct. When I hover over the URL in the pdf i notice that the word 'Good' is at the end of my URL but I did not put this in there. if I give the report to a client it doesn't look so good. http://www.narellanpools.com.au/local-contact/narellan-pools-alburywodongaGood Is this a bug? SEOmoz Report: Competitive Domain Analysis
Hi there, According to SEOmoz Dashboard's Competitive Domain Analysis, the 'Total Links' for our domain shot up (more than quatripled) in the last few weeks. We haven't really done much link building in over 6 months so not sure how to explain this. Did SEOmoz make updates to their bots? Could it be that the bots are finding all these links only now? We've been using SEOmoz reporting for almost a year now, and I've never seen this before. Some insight / explanation for this would be great. Thanks in advance,

Incorrect domain authority result on SEO tool bar and OSE
The SEO tool bar is returning what I believe to be an incorrect domain authority of 71 and showing 24,356,141 lins from 153,051 domains. The OSE is also returning 71 as domain authority. Anyone know what could be doing this? Thanks. Jason
