App Store Optimization - Google Play Console A/B Testing: Should I Optimize for Active Devices or Users
-
Can't seem to find any ASO type of communities to ask this question to and since the Moz community has been so helpful, I thought I'd try this out.
I've been doing A/B Testing for featured graphics on the Google Play Store. There are segments of active devices and users and I've been keeping track daily for ~1.5 months. The data that I have written down displays that active devices shows a positive, however users show a negative. Google Play Console choose to display the scaled installs for active devices.
When we do A/B Tests on Google Play Console, should we choose the winner based on the active devices or users?

Does anybody know of a reliable website phone call lead tracking service that integrates with Google Analytics?
We are trying to get more detailed data about where direct website phone calls are coming from (not just Adwords call extensions). We know there are a few services available that do this. However are there any recommendations for a reliable one? We would like to show our clients Google Analytics conversion metrics that shows incoming phone calls from different campaigns.

Rel=author: inactive google+ better than no authorship?
some doubts about implementing rel=author: I have no google+ account so far and I have no intention to start activities in google+. Shall I still add rel=author and create a new empty google+ account (without google+ activity but using gmail) or would you recommend rather not to add rel=author in this case? I have 2 sites ranking in top10 SERP for my targeted keyword. One online shop and on another domain a non-commercial site with information on the topic. Would you rather associate same or different google+ accounts (from different people) with these two sites for both rel=author and rel=publisher? thanks.

Tactics to Get lots of information from newly-registered users
Ciao Mozzers! I'm currently looking at revising a clients signup process. We need to grab lots of information to populate their profiles with higher-quality content. Some ideas so far: Facebook Connect - grabbing information from Facebook profiles (a few clicks for users) Use multi-step/paginated signup form (with progress bar), perhaps using jQuery to show the next question once one is finished More shorter, specific questions > fewer longer questions I've been looking around for examples of pages which need to capture lots of information, and like what Quirky do, but has anyone got any other awesome examples or ideas for helping capture more information?
