Has anyone ever seen kazooisyee in their Analytics account before?
-
We noticed a huge spike in traffic this past Sunday and after some digging in our Analytics account, we saw that it was coming from kazooisyee (under the Network tab).
This traffic had almost a 100% bounce rate and they spent an average of less than a second on our site.
Does anyone know what this might be associated to? Is this one of those SEO site analysis sites? Any information on this will help a ton as my employer is rather concerned about this at the moment.
Thanks!

I've seen the same traffic spike and implemented a filter for this IP, but another one just popped up. Not sure how best to combat this.

Hey Justine,
A quick Google search revealed this: https://db-ip.com/158.69.229.6
If you want, you can just filter out the traffic from this IP address from your Google Analytics data. Let me know if you need to know how to do that.
Thanks!
John

Google Analytics Campaign Tracking overriding each other
Howdy, fellow mozzers. So, here is the situation: Let's say someone comes to the website through Organic Google Search, and first thing they see is the banner on the website, on a click of which it takes you to a promotional landing page. I have this banner being tracked with GA campaigns. Now, here are my questions: If that user makes a purchase, which source / medium it will be assigned to? Organic/google or website/banner? (as far as i understand it assigns it to website/banner) If that's the case, is there way to find out afterwords where the website/banner sessions came initially from? If there is no such way, how shall i setup the tracking to be able to see wherre the initial visit to the website came from, yet also track how many people clicked on the banner and made a purchase? Thanks 🙂

Google Analytics - Adding a sub-domain
Hi I have a google analytics query.
Reporting & Analytics | | Niki_1
I have a main site with a google analytics tag and I have 2 forms that sit on a subdomain with a different GA code. As I would like to measure end to end tracking, I would like the same GA code on the subdomain. What is the best way for me to implement this? Would I need to make some changes to the GA code that sits on the main site or can I add the the GA code from the main site onto the subdomain? Thanks0 -
How to track in Google Analytics
Hello, I am helping a client track traffic using Google Analytics. We recently just signed an agreement with a publisher and they have given original credit using a canonical link. How can I track this? I believe it is showing up under direct/ none and I don't know to measure the success of our new partnership.

Increase in 'Googlebot-Image' visits in analytics
Hi, I noticed a substantial increase in 'Googlebot-Image' visits data under Technology>Browser & OS in Google analytics for a few clients. Is this a bug? Are there any known fixes apart from just adding a filter to exclude the data? Regards Niladri

Google Analytics bug?
Hi, I'm getting hits to this page, it's screwing up my Google Analytics stats. I know it's related with Google Website Optimizer, cuz it correlates with the tests I ran at the same dates. I'm just wondering if you've seen this before and what I should do to clean my stats? And is this affecting my SEO? Because it's still registering hits to these pages but I already stopped the tests a while go. Should I disallow this in my robots.txt file? Thanks! ga_bug3.jpg

Nonbranded Segment in Analytics
I created a segment in analytics for non-branded terms. Problem is, that when I use that segment it shows all the search traffic even non-paid. Why is that? Or, how do I limit the non-branded segment to only non-paid search? The segment I created looks like this -- Dimension: Keyword Condition: Does not a match regular expression Value: Name of client (with pipes between possible words) Thanks.
