Crawl Issue Question
-
Hey guys,
I have run the crawl on my WordPress site and Moz finds a "Critical crawl issue" for my site on a broken link (404 error): mydomain.com/**%25s **, I can't seem to be able to find such a link anyway and I have run the website through several other tools that scan for broken links and such and there is no such result.
This link doesn't exist on my site at all and I don't know where Moz got it from, I have made changes to my site and recrawled several times and the specific error persists.Does anyone have any ideas?

Why can I see 404 pages in Google Analytics but nothing in the On-Demand Crawl?
Hello, I'm looking at some Google Analytics data for a website and can see a few 'Page not found's among the Page Titles, looking like these are 404 errors. To get a full list of what's 404-ing so I can get these redirected, the Moz on-demand crawl of the website has come back with no major errors and just a few metadata ones. Does anyone know any potential reasons why the audit has drawn a blank, and is there another way to get a comprehensive list of 404s, as I'm aware the Google Analytics data may not be covering all of them. Thanks very much Becky

Issues with Crawl Test and SSL Certificate
So I have having issues with the Crawl Test being able to crawl my site accurately due to what the tool is saying is a "SSL Certificate Error" (804 : HTTPS (SSL) error encountered when requesting page.) Only thing is that I have no warnings about this SSL issue in Search Console and when I check the SSL on https://www.sslshopper.com it comes back just fine. Anybody know why this might be happening or have encountered this issue before?

Site Crawl report show strange duplicate pages
Beginning in early in Feb, we got a big bump in duplicate pages. The URLs of the pages are very odd: Example URL:
Moz Bar | | Neo4j
http://[email protected]/dir/page.php
is duplicate with http://website.com/dir/page.php I checked though the site, nginx conf files, and referral pages, and could not find what is prefixing the pages with 'http://firstname.lastname@'. Any ideas? The person whose name is 'Firstname Lastname' is stumped as well. Thanks.0 -
Why RogerBot can't crawl site https://unplag.com
Hello Please help me to solve the problem. The on-page grader and Crawl Test are not working for Unplag.com website. Both said that they can't access the url. Yes, I've tried different variants like unplag.com, http://unplag.com One more thing - RogerBot was disallowed in robots.txt file. I deleted it from the file a week ago so maybe moz index haven't been renewed.

Moz crawler only crawls one page?!
Hello there, I'm using Moz for a while and I'm very pleased with the tool and community. But for the first time I encountered a problem. We are trying to run a crawler for a client's website but only one page (only the homepage) was crawled. We tried to do a test on a more detailed level (maybe there is something wrong with the homepage). My campaign test's crawl came back for the Producten folder (level deeper than homepage), and it was also only a 1 page crawl with a 200 status. I did look at the robots.txt file now, and it is very restrictive, but there is nothing that I can clearly see that would explain why the crawl isn't working. Hopefully someone can point us at the right direction. Thanks in advance, Jeremy

Problem Downloading Crawl Error Report PDF's
I am trying to download the PDF reports for the various 'crawl errors' - now some of them are quite large but would that justify why I am unable to download - the error is a straightforward one, see attached. Any ideas? Andy aDlViIN

Moz Crawl Test Trying to Crawl Contact Form Submit Button Location?
Moz Crawl Test for some reason is trying to Crawl a contact form Widget Submit Location. My obvious guess is that obviously the crawl cannot submit to the required fields…..I believe this because they're only kicking back these errors on the pages I have a contact form widget on. http://crawfordspest.com/pest-control/[email protected] 1412553693 404 : Received 404 (Not Found) error response for page. Error attempting to request page; see title for details. 404 Can you shed any insight to this? I'm a bit worried that I'll have to complete gut the contact form which was one of the major requests my client requested. Or in a worse scenario make all fields not required. It would let so much spam in. I have never seem anything like this at all. But I've learned a lot from Moz, and with major errors like 404 damage Domain Authority greatly. I've fixed 404 issues with newly acquired clients existing sites and tracked through Moz and the domain authority flies up once these errors are fixed. Along with fixing what Webmaster Tools through Google reports back. ..... Let me know if you have any expertise on this matter.0
