Best Traffic Estimation Tool
-
Hello,
What is the best system/tool to estimate traffic to a site, something more accurate than Alexa rank. This is of course assuming that one does not have access to the site's Google Analytics data,
Thanks,
Carl

Yes but G Trends doesn't give you actual numbers AFAIK, so you have to use some third party companies like SEMRush, SpyFu, Compete, etc. Then you can take the average of these results and have a somewhat reliable number

Google has a tool which gives you some extra information about the traffic to (bigger) websites:

I am looking to find the top pages based on traffic volume on my competitors websites, does anyone know of any good resources?
I want to know how which pages on my competitors websites are the most popular based on the traffic volume. I do not care how many links or directed to that page or any other metric. Only thing I am looking for is the traffic volume. It would also be nice to know the length of time spent on that page.

Does anyone know of a way to get monthly visitor data for a subdomain that I do not manage? I would normally use SEMRush or Compete, but they only provide domain level data.

Good tools to compare site speed on different sites?
Google tells me that my site is slower than 81% of the internet. Now this is a very large news website, so I would like to compare this against other very large news websites. Are there any tools that will be able to tell me the speed of a list of websites? I am looking for something a little more detailed than 'this site loaded in 1 second'. Also, do any of you fellow SEOs know of any good tools to analyse what is causing your site to slow down? Kind regards

Where are the best places online to build powerful profile pages
So on SEOmoz you can create a profile page with followed links (after 200 points), just as you can do on Google Profiles. I'd like to build a strong backlink profile which features some of these highest links that my competitors will not have the time or effort to do. I'm working hard to answer questions on SEOmoz and to be a helpful part of the community, and have published some Google Knols for the Google profile building. My question is; are there any other sites that allow the same type of responsible profile building, preferably SEO related as this is my area of expertise. Thanks Aaron Solar Monster Ltd
