I’m one of the co-founders of BuildZoom, a site that helps connect consumers with reliable home improvement contractors. At BuildZoom, I focus on day-to-day operations, marketing & sales and am pretty deeply involved with the product itself.
Prior to BuildZoom, I spent four years as Director of Product Management for Vocus (VOCS), a global PR and Marketing software company, where I helped drive product platform strategy and roadmap execution for a variety of SMB products including PRWeb. I still work as a consultant for Vocus, helping them establish and manage partnerships oriented around the PRWeb distribution network.
I started my career at a boutique PR agency called v-Fluence, where I spent four years building a suite of products to monitor and analyze online activity for a number of large corporations.
Academically, I received a BA from Georgetown University, where I studied English and Music theory and spent a year studying literature at King’s College in London. Later, I got my Masters at the London School of Economics, where I focused on new media.
I’ve blabbed at a number of online marketing & PR industry events like SMX, SES and PubCon on a variety of topics including online PR, SEO and social media marketing.
