Hi, Hi- I've changed the title and reposted this question as I didn't get any insight. I really am going around in circles for this; so any help that can be given would be really appreciated.I know that you guys have the knowledge so really hoping you can share it! Thanks - background: I run two sites: www.ragsmetals.com and www.yourgoldfund.com: They offer similar products but to different markets: one is predominently trade, one predominently customer focused. They vie for the same keywords.e.g. Buy Gold My Issue: I have been trying to build www.yourgoldfund.com up from an SEO point of view; it is FALLING in the rankings; I am doing NOTHING with www.ragsmetals.com and it is rising in the rankings. I checked webmaster to see if there were any warnings as a result of penguin (found out how to do this on here - thanks for that!) there are none. I have optimized the pages a lot. I have put time into getting in bound traffic, and even more excitingly some experts (from reputable domains) have just linked to our site because they like our content! So to me things should be improving . NOTE: My OSE listed inbound links are incredibly diferent from google Webmaster. What can I do. I am a scientific person so I love the fact that I have 2 sites to compare...interested to hear your thoughts. Many thanks in advance

Hi All, I'm continuing my search to see why my ranking is slipping and slipping; I thought maybe self cannibalizing is an issue. I guessed this as my competitors don't have three pages ranking highly for a particular key word; it is just the one page that ranks highly for them - for all of the important keywords. I have three sometimes four pages ranking (albeit not highly ranking) for a particular keyword. An earlier post said that the pageranker tool on SEOMOZ highlighted self cannibalization; I've checked my pages on this tool and they all get A's and passed the cannibalization check. Does this Absolutely mean that cannibalization is not theproblem for me? Thanks,

My results as they actually appear on google.ie (I physically check weekly) have dropped back over the last 2-3 weeks. How can I tell if this is as a result of Penguin? I have checked webmaster to look into my Avg Position and webmaster is telling me for the last month it has improved which from physical checks I can confirm it hasn't. Is there anywhere I could definitevely check if I have been marked down by google as a result of penguin OR whether my rankings have shifted down because Penguin has promoted other sites? Thanks,

I have been looking at 2 key words for my site & three other sites, I am refreshing daily to understand it movements and the movements have been really erratic - droping 8 places in one day, then back 7 places the next. There have not been any changes made to the site in question during this period other than I me starting to track them with SEOmoz - Can anyone explain what would be behind this? thanks, S

Hi Folks, I am hoping for some clarity on this Using different browsers First: IE, Second: Firefox. Same Search Engine Google.ie. I get totally different results when I search for "Buy Gold" In both browsers. I am not signed into my gmail account. Can anyone tell me why this is please? Thanks,
