Sevin is a licensed marriage and family therapist, best known for his down-to-earth approach to helping people move into more loving and authentic relationships. The founder of the Relationship Counseling Center, he has conducted workshops, appeared on TV and radio as an expert on relationships, published a wide range of online videos and articles, and helped numerous people through private sessions. With locations in 24 major cities throughout the United States, the Relationship Counseling Center follows Sevin’s no-nonsense therapeutic style: interactive, direct, and goal-focused. His counselors are licensed professionals experienced in helping couples and individuals discover healthy ways to work through their relationship issues.
After spending half his life in professional roles in corporate America, and his spare time volunteering to help others, Sevin underwent a life-altering change. He realized that life is precious, and what matters most is our personal freedom and deep connections with those we love. Leaving his old life behind, he began pursuing his counseling credentials full-time. He has since moved on to help thousands of individuals and couples reclaim their happiness in life and relationships using tools he himself has found most effective.
Sevin believes in finding the courage to love when it is difficult, to humbly admit our personal shortcomings, to practice being the best people we can be, and, when we fall short, to get back up and try again. He shares his relationship advice through online videos, available free of charge. The Relationship Counseling Center donates a portion of all income to a nonprofit charitable organization to fund important projects benefiting disadvantaged children and families in South Africa.
An avid music lover and his family’s personal chef, Sevin is happiest when barbecuing with family and friends in his backyard. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, Courtney. The couple are totally devoted to their family, which includes four-year-old son Daxton.
