FF SEOMoz toolbar issue
-
I sent the email below to [email protected] on the 12th April and haven't heard anything back so thought I'd fire it up here in case someone has a solution for me...
"For the past month or so I've had an issue in Firefox where my SEOmoz toolbar appears to not sign me in, or allow me to sign in. All metrics are 0 for all websites/pages and if I click the login button, nothing happens at all. If I click the Quick Links button the drop down menu appears but whichever option from the drop down I choose, nothing happens. I'm funning Firefox 11.0 and have attached a screen grab of the bar as it appears no matter where I browse.
Do you have any suggestions how I can get it working again? It works fine in Chrome but I primarily use Firefox..." -
Thanks Nick,
changing the settings for cookies by itself didn't fix this. FYI I had to do everything you suggested and then uninstall the toolbar before reinstalling it. This worked and everything is fine now but where I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling before, without the cookies tweaks it didn't cure the issue.
Thanks for you assistance

Thanks for writing in and sorry that you're getting this problem with MozBar. It sounds like a cookies issue - you should definitely make sure that third-party cookies are activated in your browser (I know it seems basic, but it really does help).
This is how you do this: Firefox: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/enabling+and+disabling+cookies Chrome: http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?answer=95647 I hope this helps! After you enable all cookies, including third-party, and save the settings, restart your browser and log back in to the SEOmoz.org site. After that, open up the MOZbar and make sure you are logged in (it indicates if you are logged in on top of the page). You should be good to go! If you're still having problems, you may want to clear your cache and cookies as well. Here's how: Firefox: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Clear Recent History#w_how-do-i-clear-my-history (clear at least your cache and cookies) Chrome: http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95582 After it's all cleared out, try restarting the browser again and then logging in. You should be set. I hope this helps! Let me know if it doesn't work. Best,
Nick

I have had the same issue a few weeks ago. I am not sure the same problem I went to SEOMoz and logged in from the homepage and it started working after I refreshed the page.

Edit SEOmoz Profile Bug
Hi,
Moz Pro | | rayvensoft
I am trying to complete my SEOmoz profile, but there seems to be a bug. I am able to fill out everything except the 'favorite topics'. It lets me go in and fill it out, but when I click the update button to save it it does not save, and still shows up as missing in bar at the top. I have tried it in Mozilla, IE and Chrome, and it still does not work. Am I missing something? Thanks.0 -

SEOMOZ stopped counting local results as a rank?
I had a terrifying experience today upon receiving my weekly rankings report that stated I had dropped out of google for the majority of my keywords! However upon further inspection it would appear the report is not including local results in the ranking (my page shows up #1 but is a local result). This didn't happen before, did something change that I didn't know about?

Http://lsapi.seomoz.com pop up
I am getting this pop up on every page I visit: A username and password are being requested by http://lsapi.seomoz.com. The site says: "SEOmoz" I've searched some forums and see that others are experiencing it as well. The advice was to log into my seomoz account, however that did not work...any ideas?
