Guest blogging for the gaming industry

Guest blogging seems to be one of the few legit linking methods left these days.
My problem is that I work for a company in the gaming industry niche.
All of the blogs directly connected are either spam, competitors or affiliates.
I have been doing some guest blogging with connected articles on non-related blogs such as "financial advice if you win big" or a recent news story for a general blog.
However, these sites are not connected and I cannot get the more quality general sites interested in these topics.
Any advice for me?

Online Gambling is always going to be very black hat and difficult to rank for 'legitimately' I found that using the wayback machine (http://archive.org/web/web.php) can help rat out spammy Gambling sites that have changed around.
As well as this it is just a matter of searching and finding those hidden gems or pushing some kind of high quality viral / media campaign where you can get into the higher quality websites.
Gambling and Pills are always going to be very blackhat so maybe you need to change hat slightly.

Yes, and it's great for finding blogs in unrelated industries that will publish my articles.
But my question is more if those links are valuable and if not suggestions for how to get more valuable/relevant ones.

Hi all, My understanding of obtaining backlinks by way of blogpost outreach is that it's best to include several outbound links to related high domain websites within blog post copy (as well as a link to the website you're marketing, obviously) such as this post https://www.scoopearth.com/why-should-you-use-royalty-free-music-for-youtube-videos/ or this one https://small-bizsense.com/how-to-create-quality-content-for-your-business/. So is it best to follow SEO guidelines and include several outbound links within guest blog posts, or is it better to only have the one link to your client's site (to focus the readers attention on it)?

Good alternative to guest blogging
Hi, After many years of on-page I've just started in the world of link building and I'm currently working on an e-commerce website. I've noticed that most blogs devoted to this sector that are worth their salt will only accept guest blog requests for payment. So here's the question, is there any way to circumvent this? Is there any other way to achieve the same results I would with guest blogging without having to pay for it? Thanks in advance

Disavow links from questionable blog
Hi everyone, I noticed today that we are getting quite a few backlinks from a blog that promotes some rather seedy ideals (it's called zoklet). Specifically, they are linking to some products we sell that prevent shoplifting, so I'm drawing some conclusions about their motives. I don't think the blog itself is spammy, but I'm just assuming that it's a bad neighborhood and we should distance ourselves from it. The only reason I'm questioning the disavow is because of the warnings involved and that it might affect our rankings if we do it. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Need feedback: Should we move our blog from blogger to our e-commerce site?
Hi, I write the blog for an e-commerce site that sells swimwear www.allwetbeachwear.com. The blog is currently a blogger blog that lives off the domain. I have always thought that having a blogger blog for the site looked unprofessional yet might be good for SEO since google owns blogger. However recently we are making SEO improvements and want to create more internal links to keep up with our competitors. I am thinking an on-site blog might be good for SEO. Blogging best practice, tips, hints, advice etc (Wordpress-centric)
Hi guys, I have, for the first time, set up a Wordpress blog. I'm moulding the overall theme of it to relate to the industry we operate in. I'm new to this, so looking for any advice, help and info etc on how best to utilise it that you can offer. My initial plan is to write articles as often as possible on what's happening in the markets, and link back to our site where applicable. I'll also do content exchanges with other relevant sites (using My Blog Guest as one means to find relevant bloggers), and give access to contributors as well (felt a bit weird about doing it initially). Morning Mozzers! I work for an online wedding retailer and we add new, unique, high quality content to our blogs on a daily basis.
