How Many Words are Enough?
-
I would like to ask what is the recommended number of words on your page?
Thanks
-
pages with less than 250 words per page (and a lot of pages like that) are considered low quality sites and have a good chance of getting hit by panda.
-
Yeah per page, completely unique. Don't forget it can come in many forms doesn't need to be paragraph after paragraph. intro > FAQ's > spec check etc etc

Thank you for the inputs and feedbacks

Two ways of looking at this -
Enough from a User Experience point of View is in my opinion, what is needed to convey the message, whether it be with Words, Images or Design Elements. So it is completely dependent
If you are asking from a purely SEO standpoint, I am not sure there is a precise answer, but me personally from experience - if you are building a page you would like to rank well for a specific term no less than 350 - 1000 words - but I think this is completely relative - maybe if you put more about what the purpose of this page is, this might help others to understand what this page is about - and might be able to give a better "best practice" answer, as a page about a specific product would have less than a page explaining the many uses of a product line ect... And putting 500 words on a homepage might be bad for UX , but might be better for SE's - So intent is also a large factor
Hope this helps

Should I Be Concerned about Too Many Links in Interview?
I was contacted recently from a small online magazine (DA 17) who wanted to interview me about my area of expertise. Although it's not a high authority site, I gladly accepted, conducted the interview, and he posted it on his site today. Throughout the course of the final interview article, he linked to my website 5 times. Once in the intro, and 4 times in reference to different answers I gave. At this point, I'm wondering if it looks like a spammy guest post, even though it was legitimately conducted. Should I ask him to remove some of the links so it doesn't look spammy? I feel kinda bad because he's not trying to do anything fishy. Ecommerce Traffic increase - moving from 500 to 1000 words/category
Hello, We have found traffic to increase upon adding content to category descriptions. Our category pages are stronger than our product pages. Our main categories (the fourty that are in the navigation) have 500 words on them, carefully written helpful content. We are trying to decide whether to increase (for these 40 categories) to 1000 words per category. Do you think this would increase traffic ? Is it a good idea? Thanks!

How many words per page?
I know this has been answered before, but I don't think it has been in about a year (and we all know how quickly the SEO landscape can change). We're having a little debate on it right now and I'd be curious to get some feedback from the community. What is the minimum number of words you would use on a page? Does it matter to you if it's a second tier (website.com/x) or third tier (website.com/x/y) page? It's always a tough sell on design between trying to keep it clean and trying to provide a lot of useful information. I'd be curious what your thoughts are. Thanks! -Adam

Too many links on page?
Hello, Can my rankings suffer if some of my inner pages have too many links/anchor text? Or would link juice just stop being passed after X amount of links? I have content on these inner pages, and it all flows. Thanks!
