Find 404 errors
-
Seomoz is currently reporting 404-errors, without saying where these errors are found.
What good is this report when it does'nt say a word about where I can find the page linking to the 404?
Screen: http://filer.crenia.no/NJPZ
I really think it's time for Seomoz to prioritize upgrading the pro tools. Feels like they haven't been updated in ages..

This would be a great addition to our web tools! Thanks so much for the suggestions. I can absolutely see how valuable this would be.
Must suggestion would be posting this as a feature suggestion. Here's the feature request forum we use to collect ideas:
http://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-seomoz-pro-feature-requests
The teams at SEOmoz pay close attention to these requests and we make additions and updates to our tools often based on submissions just like these. I hope this will help.

If your site is under 3000 pages you can use this tool
it shows you the broken link, and the page and where in the source code the broken link is on that page.

Keri, given that this kind of question comes up so often, why not at least put a note on the report pages indicating that significantly more complete data is available in the CSV exports than can be shown in the tool itself?
If the data's there but in a non-obvious place, the page needs to do a better job of explaining that to the user.

We understand your frustration, and know that having to download the CSV to find the 404 errors isn't the most obvious solution. It is on our list of things to work on. We do have some upgrades coming in the future, never fear!

Hi Ignitas,
To get some insights into what urls are linking to a 404 page the best would be to export your Crawl Diagnostics to CSV. These files contain the urls linking to your pages.
Hope this helps a bit! But I would still suggest to the Moz team to include this feature within the PRO tools.

Is there a way for me to find out how a keyword would rank if it were on a specific site?
Is there a way for me to find out how a keyword would rank if it were on a specific site? For example, lets say that XYZ.com does not have the keyword "ABC". Is there a way for me to find out how the keyword "ABC" would rank if it were on XYZ.com?

Find ClickBank Affiliates
Hey everyone, just a quick question. I am interested in using the Open Site Explorer tool to find ClickBank affiliates (advertisers not merchants) for current ClickBank products. Is there a way to do this? What I have been doing: 1.) Run an inbound link search for current products 2.) Manually go through all the back links and pull links that could be from affiliate sites (and delete those that look like links from directories). Thoughts? Thanks!

4XX (Client Error) Report - Referrer URL Feature Request
Why not allow me to click on the individual 404 errors in the 4XX (Client Error) report and allow me to actually see the where the broken links are coming from (as a hyperlinked url) so I can locate/click and fix them? Providing the referring url w/hyperlink will stop me from having to jump between the report and searching in site explorer, or downloading the complete error report and sorting.

90% of our sites that are designed are in wordpress and the report brings up "duplicate" content errors. I presume this is down to a conical error?
We are looking at getting the Agency version of SEOMoz and are based in the UK Could you please tell me what would be the best way to correct this issue as this appears to be a problem with all our clients websites. an example would be www.fsgenergy.co.uk Would you also be able to suggest the best SEO plugin to use with SEOMOz ? Many thanks Paul

Duplicate page error from SEOmoz
SEOmoz's Crawl Diagnostics is complaining about a duplicate page error. I'm trying to use a rel=canonical but maybe I'm not doing it right. This page is the original, definitive version of the content: https://www.borntosell.com/covered-call-newsletter/sent-2011-10-01 This page is an alias that points to it (each month the alias is changed to point to the then current issue): https://www.borntosell.com/covered-call-newsletter/latest-issue The alias page above contains this tag (which is also updated each month when a new issue comes out) in the section: Is that not correct? Is the https (vs http) messing something up? Thanks!
