Is this URL Structure SPAMMY
-
Hey guys/gals
I have tried asking this very specific question 3-4 times already and some how my specific question seems to be getting side tracked and my very specif question pertaining to my URL structure keeps getting bypassed and overlooked.
I am wondering about if this URL structure would become a possible issue in the somewhat near future with GOOGLE considering what I have seen go down in the SEO world the past 2 years.
Does this URL Structure look SPAMMY?
http://www.pcmedicsoncall.com/computer-repair/laptop-repair/
www.pcmedicsoncall.com/computer-repair/laptop-repair/laptop-screen-repair/
Below is a Screen shot of the Site which I designed where I have created a SILO Site Architecture. .....PLEASE... Look at the Picture
Thank you
Marshall

I know the feeling and concerns, Marshall. Glad I found the question here!

God bless you for answering my question! LOL.. it's been a bit of an ordeal getting a basic assessment from a different set of eyes on this question. Thank you. : D
Sure, I do my keyword research and have been very detailed on my previous postings about my skill set and abilities to the sum of 300+ words but that had proven to yield an unsatisfactory result getting a straight answer on this particular question on two separate Threads that I started so I figured that I would just act like a layman and see if it would work out better instead explaining with so much detail this go around.
I Guess, I am too long in the tooth?
Here are the other threads

Thank you for the extra set of eyes on this question Alan as the search landscape has changed so much and I am doing a Company re-branding and need to get this right without the possibility of google slapping me later down the road despite the fact that I do nothing but quality white hat SEO and always have.
Just don't need the aggravation Ya know?
Sincerely,
Marshall Thompson

Marshall,
Yes, this is moving into the "too much" realm. So for example, I would suggest that the URLs and Breadcrumb navigation be refined like this:
http://www.pcmedicsoncall.com/computer-repair/
http://www.pcmedicsoncall.com/computer-repair/laptop/
http://www.pcmedicsoncall.com/computer-repair/laptop/screen/
Then in the Page titles, I might go with
Computer Repair | PC Medics On Call
Laptop Repair | Laptop Computer Repair | PC Medics On Call
Laptop Screen Repair | PC Medics On Call
Or depending on keyword research alternately:
Computer Repair Services | PC Medics On Call
(this one above covers "Computer Repair", "Computer Repair Services" and to a lesser degree "PC Repair", "PC Repair Services" and even "PC Computer Repair Services")
Laptop Repair Services | PC Medics On Call
Laptop Screen Repair Services | PC Medics On Call
(of course your actual seeding should be based on keyword research and your particular goals)...

410 or 301 after URL update?
Hi there, A site i'm working on atm has a thousand "not found" errors on google console (of course, I'm sure there are thousands more it's not showing us!). The issue is a lot of them seem to come from a URL change. Damage has been done, the URLs have been changed and I can't stop that... but as you can imagine, i'm keen to fix as many as humanly possible. I don't want to go mad with 301s - but for external links in, this seems like the best solution? On the other hand, Google is reading internal links that simply aren't there anymore. Is it better to hunt down the new page and 301-it anyway? OR should I 410 and grit my teeth while google crawls and recrawls it, warning me that this page really doesn't exist? Essentially I guess I'm asking, how many 301s are too many and will affect our DA? And what's the best solution for dealing with mass 404 errors - many of which aren't attached or linked to from any other pages anymore? Thanks for any insights 🙂

URL Parameters, Forms & SEO
Hi I have some pages on the site which have a quote form, in my site crawl I see these showing as duplicate content - my webmaster says this isn't the case, but I'm not sure. Landing page - https://www.key.co.uk/en/key/high-esd-chairs Page with form - https://www.key.co.uk/en/key/high-esd-chairs?quote-form - this also somehow has a canonical on it pointing to https://www.key.co.uk/en/key/high-esd-chairs?quote-form Which neither of us have added. I'm thinking we need to get the canonical needs to be updated to https://www.key.co.uk/en/key/high-esd-chairs Is it worth doing this for all these pages or am I worrying about nothing? Becky

Changing URL to a subdomain?
Hi there, I had a website www.footballshirtcollective.com that has been live since July. It contains both content and eCommerce. I am now separating out the content so that; 1. The master domain is www.footballshirtcollective.com (content) pointing to a new site 2. Subdomain is store.footballshirtcollective.com (ecommerce) - pointing to the existing site. What do you advise I can do to minimise the impact on my search? Many thanks Mike

I have a lot of spammy links coming to my 404 page (the URLs have been removed now). Should i re-direct to Home?
I have a lot of spammy links pointing at my website according to MOZ. Thankfully all of them were for some URLs that we've long since removed so they're hitting my 404. Should i change the 404 with a 301 and Re-Direct that Juice to my home page or some other page or will that hurt my ranking?

Urls missing from product_cat sitemap
I'm using Yoast SEO plugin to generate XML sitemaps on my e-commerce site (woocommerce). I recently changed the category structure and now only 25 of about 75 product categories are included. Is there a way to manually include urls or what is the best way to have them all indexed in the sitemap?

Link juice site structure?
If we have a top nav with contact us, about us, delivery, FAQ, Gallery, how to order ect but none of these we want to rank and then we have the usual left hand nav.are we wasting juice with the top nav and would we be better either removing it and putting them further down the page or consolidating them and adding an extra products tab so the product pages are first.

Flat vs. subdomain web structure
I am building a site which sells a product in 50 states and in each state we will have independt partners. From an SEO perspective, what are the tradeoffs in using a single domain vs. having each state a subdomain? Each state also has varying regulatory issues that are specific to that state.
