Webmaster Tools - How to Change Site Owner When Owner is MIA

I started working with a client about a year and a half ago. I had the computer guy who setup the website for my client grant me access to webmaster tools. When I added the site, I have "Restricted Access" I kind of dropped the ball in following up with him and now, there is no response from his email and the hosting provider website is down.
Is there any way to get his non working email off as owner and make me the owner?

Agree with Chris... if you have the FTP and you can log in to the website then just add a new webmaster tool and verify it accordingly to become the owner!

I don't know if you'll be able to accomplish that but you can set up a new google account or use your current one to revalidate your site for GWT. Just log in to the new account, go to google webmaster tools and add the site as a new site and go through the validation. You can set a new google analytics script, as well if your analytics was assigned to that old google account--but unfortunately, you'd loose your history.

Migration + Change of Address Tool used - previous site de-indexed!!
OMG disaster! Recently migrated my site womencycles.com to moonrise.health. Painstakingly went through each URL manually to map out redirects, notified Google via change of address tool. Bam. My old website has disappeared from Google and my new site has thus lost all it's organic (i.e. redirected) traffic. I don't get it. I think I have done everything by the book, but it seems my old site has disappeared and no authority or link juice has been passed to my new site by the 301s, as the new site isn't ranking either. When looking at the crawl errors in Webmaster Tools/Search Console, where is Google pulling these URLs from? Sitemap?

Similar pages on a site
Hi I think it was at BrightonSEO where PI DataMetrics were talking about similar pages on a website can cause rankings to drop for your main page. This has got me thinking. if we have a category about jumpers so: example.com/jumpers but then our blog has a category about jumpers, where we write all about jumpers etc which creates a category page example.com/blog/category/jumpers, so these blog category pages have no index put on them to stop them ranking in Google? Changing url structure

My site has vanished from google
Hi my site has vanished from google.
