Where is the link prospecting tool?

I feel like last year when Moz was still SEOMoz I used a beta tool that would help you build a bunch of queries for link prospecting. You would tell it what your sites about and a few other pieces of information, and it would give you a list of google queries to get you started (ie inurl:directory <industryname> +"add site"</industryname>).
However, I'm having a hard time finding this tool, or any reference to it on the web. It's also possible that it wasn't a moz tool but I'm misremembering where I found it. Does anybody have any idea what I'm talking about?

Crawl test from tools
Hi, I notice that the crawl test which is from the Research Tools doesn't really get a new crawl even though there is 2 crawl per day. It will only provide the data which was acquire from the crawl diagnostics in my pro account. There is no point for me to get the data which I get from my crawl diagnostic isn't it? Even seomoz provided with more than 2 crawl per day also useless in this case. This whole thing doesn't make sense as the crawl diagnostics will only perform a full crawl test once every week. but even the crawl test also not helping any thing out for me.

Reporting Low internal links to Homepage
I am having a strange problem on one of our websites, I am currently comparing ourselves to our competition as it appears we are underranking. The one difference I can see is that our internal links are very low. They are currently at 22 to the homepage and section pages comapred to our competition which have a few hundred. The size of our site is around 800 pages and they all have a homepage link so I cannot see why it is not reading them. Where is the best place to add links on my site?
If I'd like to put links to other sites in my site, is it better to have a page named "Our Helpful Links" etc. instead of just adding them to the bottom of an existing page like I've seen on some sites? I'm asking because I'm wanting to make Google as happy as possible and still add them. Just in case it helps to look at the site yourself to give advise its; http://www.allstatetransmission.net If you see anything else there that I should work on feel free to be hard on it, I value any criticism. How long will it take for the link analysis to be updated?
In an effort to evaluate SEOmoz I started off my free trial with a fresh website that I am going to get to rank on the first page and hopefully to the #1 spot. I have been link building and changing the website around a lot. When I created the website hosted by HostGator with wordpress installed I marked down where it showed up the first time. After checking for many days to about the 100th spot I found it in spot 65. I have since then been spending some time (not a ton of time, but enough) guest posting, some bookmarking, press release creation and some other odds and ends stuff. The page has gone up to 23rd but there have been no signs of any work done on the link analysis. So, How long does it take?

Links in Open Site Explorer turning into downloads
Hey guys. This is my first question on here so hello 🙂 I have noticed recently a couple of times in Open Site Explorer, when I am checking out links, they are direct download links. The two I have noticed are flash files and with one companies links, dropbox related. Can anyone shed any light on this? I am pretty new to SEO and find it really confusing. Thanks in advance 🙂

How do you track links over time?
I'm new to SEOmoz and I'm really enjoying the fact that I can track all my keywords in a single place and monitor the changes. Is there a way to do the same with no my links? I mean: I'm using Open Site Explorar to track my links, but I want to know my link building performance overtime. Is there a way to do this automatically with SEOmoz? In case of a negative answer, how do you track your links over time? Thanks in advance!

SEOMOZ tools are not helping!
So, I have a website www.mobikwik.com which provides mobile phone topup in India. I signed up for SEOMOZ Pro membership a little less than a month ago. For all our competitors , which rank above us in google as of today , I checked out two things a) competitive link analysis and b) on-page optimization. On b) , our home page had the best optimization for targeted keywords and the best score amongst all competitors who ranked above us. On a) , linkscape tools showed our moztrust and mozrank to be the best. Except for 2 competitors, our domain authority was also better than the rest. Inspite of all this, our website is ranked no more than 6 on google for all targeted keywords. We have the best quality links amongst our competitors. I am at a loss to understand this and how to improve our ranking. I have to make a decision whether to renew my SEOMOZ membership in 2 days time. Please help me decide!
