Moz Pro vs. Moz Analytics
-
Beta version has been out for awhile. Curious to know what people think of Moz Analytics.
Personally, I'm having a hard time making the switch from Pro to Moz Analytics because I'm so used to the navigation and layout of Pro.
What does everyone else think of the new Moz Analytics? Advantages? Disadvantages?

This is a great question and a topic we are really interested in hearing more about at Moz. We understand that changing workflows can be painful and challenging, and are dedicated to making Moz Analytics a worthy successor to Pro.
If you have any specific items that you find frustrating, missing, or hard to find, we'd love it of you respond in the thread, or even email me directly (adam -at- moz.com). Also let us know if there are things we could do to help, whether it be resources, education, or product changes.
Thanks!

Hey guys
I asked the same question about a week or so ago and received some really good feedback.
Thanks

I hope not. Didn't want to say it, but I'm kinda hating analytics :S I wonder if I would remain as a member if the pro version is ever removed.

Federico,
I do the same thing! I have been wondering if one day that option to switch back will eventually go away...
-
I feel the same way! Even though I am forced to access Analytics by default, I then hit the "Back to Pro" not only because I am used to it, but also I find it easier to read. I really don't want to spend 10 minutes loading for pages and graphs, and the PRO version gives me just that, the info I need instantly.

Unsolved How does Moz compile the "Important pages on your site are returning a 4xx error!" report?
I have over 200 links in this report (mostly from a staging site). I have deleted that staging site and I cannot find the reference to the other links. So my question is, where is Moz finding these links?

Poor quality PDF exports from mz.bundledseo.com
The new reports look great http://mz.bundledseo.com/dashboard/overview/ But when I export to PDF, the text is low quality and images are low quality. Not as good as the old report. In fact, the PDF is such low quality we are not providing them to our customers. We're using the old reports. ETA for HQ PDF Export please?

I'm shocked! KEYWORD SERPs: GA avg. position vs. SEOmoz
SEOmoz has us our position for a particular keyword as "Not in Top 50". The same keyword is listed in GA with an average position of. 3.0. What am I missing here? When I do a search, I most definitely am not seeing us listed as #3 for this keyword, and tend to believe the SEOmoz number, but why is it so wildly different in GA? Should I have hope? There is another keyword that SEOmoz has us at #4 and it isn't even on the GA list. Can anyone explain this to me? Many thanks.

Question about SEOMoz Pro and Root Domain vs. Subdomain tracking
I currently have two Pro campaigns set up. They are both tracking the root domains of two different e-commerce sites. I also am tracking three competitors for each company, in each campaign. I have those set up by subdomains, like so www.Competitor.com. So in my Historical link analysis I am getting MyRootDomain.com, compared to www.competitor1.com, www.competitor2.com and www.competitor3.com Is this a problem? Would it be better for me to switch my company campaigns to track subdomains too, or to switch my competitor tracking to root domains. This is probably pretty rudimentary, but it never even occurred to me until just now. I realize that if I switch to subdomains for my own company tracking this would necessitate setting up a completely new campaign. This would be a problem because I am maxed out on my 1,000 keywords. Last but not least, does the fact that I have been tracking my own site root domains compared to competitors subdomains mean all of my competitive domain and link analysis is, well, garbage?...because I haven't really been comparing the same things?

Where do I find "URLs Receiving Entrances Via Search" and "Non-Paid Keywords Sending Search Visits" in Google Analytics?
These are two metrics highlighted in the "Organic Traffic Data" report in the PRO campaigns. Since this report is composed of data linked from Google Analytics, I bet there's a way to find this same information in GA. So...anyone know how to do that in Google Analytics? I want this information for some long-tail productivity/potential research.
