Changing the G+ Author
-
Hello,
We have a website we are linking using schema / google places to a G+ profile.
however, this is a person in the company and may change in the future.
Is there any issue (e.g. TOS issue) with Google to have one author of a website and then change to another (e.g. change from author being one G+ account ot another with a new image/profile/person)?
Thanks!

How about using person #1 - real person as G+ author of the site pages so that the image appears in the search results.
Then if person leaves company, change to person #2, basically changing the authorship for the content in the website (e.g. change schema from person a's G+ account to person B's for same content)?
Thanks!

Use an image of a person in your company or a picture of you if you don't mind it living on after you leave the company. A person who leaves your company will not want other people writing for them under their real name.
99% of writers, actors, musicians all use names that are not their own. Michael Savage's real name is Michael Weiner.
Google isn't asking for your social security number or birth certificate to set up a G+ page...at least not yet!

When you say a persona, that would be a stock image and name, right?
My understanding is that that is against google TOS and that the person has to be a real bonafide person.
Thanks!

I do not believe there is an issue with that.
If you do switch over though I recommend using a persona and not an actual person. This way when that person leaves the company another ghost writer just takes over. Make it a cool name and an attractive person that will appeal to the masses but make it believeable.

How do I test images in WP migration without Changing URLs?
I'm redesigning example.com on a subdomain of my own site, so at example.mysite.com. As part of the redesign, I am optimizing the site's images. I used Wordpress Importer to get the content to the development site, but I did not import the images. Instead, I added the images to the development site by copying and moving over the contents of example.com's uploads folder. The posts at example.mysite.com are showing the images, but they are pulling them from the original location. I tried adding the following code to wp-config.php under the (misunderstood?) impression that the image URLs would use the development site's domain: 1 define('WP_HOME', 'http://example.mysite.com');

2 define('WP_SITEURL', 'http://example.mysite.com'); I am not seeing any change and the images are still pulling from the original site. How can I test the images on the current site without actually changing the URLs in the database. (If I understand correctly, I could search and replace, but that is not what I am trying to achieve.) The original domain is not changing with the redesign, so there is no need to actually change the URLs. I just need to test the images, as I will be removing those that are not being used as well as optimizing the remaining images before moving the redesigned site over to the original domain.0 -

A web-site has PR5 but in OSE I see that Domain Authority is only 26. I've also checked and the domain was registered in 2009. Is this normal?

How fast to change non-branded anchor text
A client has most of his links from sitewide partnership links with non-branded anchor text. One we changed to nofollow and one partnership we're ending next month, but the rest he wants to change to branded anchor text There's 7 sitewides and a bunch more single links. Should we change the anchor text all at once or space it out to one major change per month?

Does posting multiple blog entries lower domain authority?
As we continue our content marketing efforts, and increase the frequency of posting to the blog, would this impact our domain authority? We are assuming that when you add new pages, their low authority contribute to decreasing the domain's authority. Is this the case? It might not hurt a big site like SEOmoz that's already in the 90's. What about a site in the 20-30 range?
