"We were unable to validate the following listings with Google or Facebook"
-
Hi,
I'm trying to submit the Moz Local service and it keeps saying unable to validate the listing even though our Facebook and Google accounts have been provided and match the listing. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to be struggling to find our listing for some reason.
-
Currently, Moz Local doesn't accommodate service area businesses because a number of our partners don't accept an address of that format. I apologize for the inconvenience, but we do need a full street address for the business in order to publish it.

What do you do for a business that is a SAB?
-
Thanks, I think I'm talking to you about this by email too, assuming you get the replies
-
Hmmm, that sounds rather peculiar. Would you be able to send a link to the relevant Google+ or Facebook page over to [email protected] so we can take a look? Thanks!
-
Thanks but I've just checked and we meet all those guidelines!

Hi there!
We've got a little blurb about that in the FAQ tab of this page on our Help Hub: https://mza.seotoolninja.com/help/guides/local/listingI'll slap it in here as well
Facebook
-
Must be a Facebook local business page. An easy way to see if your page is a place/local business is to see if it has the following: About, Address, Hours, Contact and Reviews.
-
Make sure that your business’s name, address and phone number are listed exactly as you would like them to appear in your Moz Local listing
-
Ensure that the page is publicly accessible (Check with incognito browser to see if the page is available prior to logging into Facebook. Also, possibly give a screenshot of a functionally configured Facebook page’s privacy settings.)
-
Make sure to have at least 2 check-ins to verify the physical location of your business. Not sure what to do here? Head to Facebook's resources to see how to let people check in and how you can check in.
Google+
-
Must be a Google+ local business page. Look for the ‘Review Summary’ section on the page. Some other things to look for: Verified check mark next to the page image, Address, Hours and Reviews. Here's an example of what the page looks like.
-
Make sure that your business’s name, address and phone number are listed exactly as you would like them to appear in your Moz Local listing. Note that service-area businesses (SAB) without their full address listed will run into complications with Moz Local since not all of our partners support SAB's.
-
Must be a listed as a “verified local business". Remember that check mark we mentioned earlier? That's what you need!

Why are none of my directory listings showing any Bing or YP information
I have many Directory listings on Moz and none of them are showing any Bing information and almost no YP information. The listings are just showing this yellow exclamation point. This has been happening for the last few weeks. Why is this happening and how can I get them back?

3 Locations = 1 Facebook Page or = 3 Facebook Pages
What is the best practice? I have a client with 3 locations with an actual address and not virtual. He has 1 Facebook page with the address and phone number of the main location. Do I add locations in Facebook on that main FB page or do I create 2 more FB pages to have one for each location?

If I "close" a duplicate listing on Factual, Acxiom, SuperPages, Bing or Localeze, what exactly happens?
When I click "close" for a duplicate location with wrong information, does it mark that location as PERMANENTLY CLOSED on the website (factual, acxiom, etc), or does it delete it from that website? Additionally, once that location on that site is marked as permanently closed or deleted, does Moz Local then re-add the correct information to that site? Thanks!!!

My listings have shown 'Update in Progress" for over a month now. Any timeframe for how long this process takes?
I would appreciate more information as to how this process works and why my listings seems to be in 'update in progress' limbo. Thank you
