DA AND PA estimation based on Backlink or search engine traffic??

I'm want to know that estimation of blogs DA and PA based on search engine traffic(google,yahoo,bing) or it totally depend on link connected to that perticular domain.

It's completely depending on link data to the domain indeed!

Think about it this way: If DA and PA had anything to do with traffic, how do you think Moz knows what traffic a site is getting in order to factor that in the DA ad PA calculations?

They are based on link metrics.

I am hoping this is the right forum to ask this question. But, I was looking at my backlinks and noticed that I had some go to a page that resembles my site, but had porn words on it. however, it would link to a place on my site. Under more information it has a real link to my site. What is this? I noticed the domain authority was in I believe the 70's; but PA was in 40's. I am new, so can someone explain this. Mobile Search Visibility Has Fallen Significantly in Recent Weeks

I checked my MOZ account last week to find that my site's Mobile Search Visibility has dropped pretty significantly 4 weeks after an algorithm update. It has ticked back up some but after weeks and weeks of steady position, it fell. I thought the latest update had affected the visibility but I'm not sure that is the case. One of our competitors ironically jumped UP in Mobile Visibility about as equally as my site has fallen. I've attached a screenshot of the MSV graph. My site is plotted in BLUE and our competition is plotted in PURPLE. Does anyone have a explanation or potential reason? 6hsAuD.jpg

Local search results reporting

Is there a way I can report on local search results for our keywords by city?
For example could I specify Phoenix or Chicago and then see how we rank as if we did the search in that city?

SEOmoz Keyword Ranking - Does it work for local search?

I was just wondering how SEOmoz calculates keyword rankings up and down every week. Shouldn't there be a way to have SEOmoz calculate rankings on a Local and Non-Local Basis? For example I have "Local Dentist" as a keyword in SEOmo for my dental client. SEOmoz shows that we are not in the Top 50. | Local dentist Keyword History Ranking Analysis | Not in Top 50 | Moved unknown 0 spaces | Not in Top 50 | Moved unknown 0 spaces | Not in Top 5 | If I change my location in Google browser to the zip of where the office is located, we
show up in position 14(for the home page) & 15 (for an inside page) How can I show the keyword rankings to my client if the keyword ranking report doesn't reflect searches done in my clients local area?

Capitalisation of campaign keywords - why does this affect traffic but not rankings?

Having accidentaly entered keywords into my campaign with both upper-case initial letters ("Product Design") and lower-case initial letters ("product design") I find that the rankings are, as expected, identical. However, the traffic generated by the keywords is markedly different. Does this mean that the two versions of the keyword should be treated like totally seperate keywords in future? Indeed, should I be entering all variants of capitalisation into future keyword campaigns (such as "product Design" and "Product design") if I wish to get the full picture in future? Any answers would be welcome. David in Scotland

Localized Search Results

I provide SEO for local service providers therefore I am mostly interesting in ranking highly in the "localized results" SERPs. Is anyone familiar with any good tools, infographics, blogs, or webinars that could be of benefit? How big of a radius do the localized results usually encompass? Are the keyword ranking reports from SEOmoz even relevant for reporting purposes? Should I include the city name (i.e. "Seattle Doctor", "Doctor in Seattle", "Doctor Seattle", etc.) in my keyword research or is this becoming less relevant? Any insight is welcome and appreciated! Thanks in advance!!
