Why can I see 404 pages in Google Analytics but nothing in the On-Demand Crawl?
-
Hello,
I'm looking at some Google Analytics data for a website and can see a few 'Page not found's among the Page Titles, looking like these are 404 errors.
To get a full list of what's 404-ing so I can get these redirected, the Moz on-demand crawl of the website has come back with no major errors and just a few metadata ones.
Does anyone know any potential reasons why the audit has drawn a blank, and is there another way to get a comprehensive list of 404s, as I'm aware the Google Analytics data may not be covering all of them.
Thanks very much
Becky

Crawl Issue Question
Hey guys, I have run the crawl on my WordPress site and Moz finds a "Critical crawl issue" for my site on a broken link (404 error): mydomain.com/**%25s **, I can't seem to be able to find such a link anyway and I have run the website through several other tools that scan for broken links and such and there is no such result.

This link doesn't exist on my site at all and I don't know where Moz got it from, I have made changes to my site and recrawled several times and the specific error persists. Does anyone have any ideas?0 -

Why do I get different results with On-Page Grader and Page Optimization tool? What is the difference between these two tools?
I use the Page Optimization tool to evaluate and make updates to a page until I get a grade of "A." But when I add the page and the keyword to the Page Optimization section of my campaign, it scores a 76% or 85% (which looks like a C or B to me). What would account for the difference in the evaluation results? Thanks for your help!

On-page Grader API?
Hi guys, I have a massive list of keywords i want to optimise against a specific URL. I'm checking them manually with the MOZ on-page grader to determine if the keyword is optimised for the URL (Grade A score). I was wondering if there is a way to pull the scores automatically for each URL with the MOZ api? Or does anyone know of any tools which can automate this process? Cheers, Chris

Does anyone else have issues with Moz's keyword search volume tool for Google's search engine?
It will show the search volume for Bing even when Google is selected. Then, if you select Bing, you'll get the same data as it shows for when you selected "google". So basically, this tool does not work for Google's search engine. Or it is most likely not a reliable way to perform keyword research. Anyone else notice this? Does Moz even offer a way to submit a support ticket to get this fixed?

I have been unable to use the export button on any of the Moz pages.
Every time I click the export button on the upper right portion of the page, it says "preparing to export", but either nothing is exported or a blank document is downloaded. I was specifically working with the Fresh Web Explorer but have noticed this on all pages. Is anyone getting this export function to work?

Why my on-page report card won't improve?
For my page www.homedestination.com/Minneapolis-homes-for-sale.html, Moz ranks the page as an "F" for the keyword "Minneapolis home buyers". All data in the report card is from months ago. using the "Grade my On-Page Optimization" button fails to show any updates - even after months. For example the title is actually "Minneapolis Homes For Sale| buying a Minneapolis home | Homebuyers" while Moz says it is ""Minneapolis Homes For Sale | Home Destination | Jenna Thuening" Moz says the description tag is "Realtor Jenna Theuning helping real estate buyers find Minnetonka homes for sale, owner of Home Destination. CDPE also helps with foreclosure and short sales buying." and "Minneapolis homes for sale, and Minneapolis listing, and Minneapolis upscale real estate, and Minneapolis lakeside properties provided by Home Destination"" when it is actually "Minneapolis homes for sale, and Minneapolis listing, Minneapolis home buyers, and Minneapolis lakeside properties provided by Home Destination." Additionally, my weekly ranking reports seems "stuck" and continues to show many "F" ranked keywords that have been updated for some time. Amy advice on how to see improvements?

Moz crawl sees meta description but there are none
I have a new site I have run a starter crawl on. The crawl came back saying some of the pages do indeed have meta descriptions. When I go to the same page and use the Moz Chrome toolbar it says they do not have meta descriptions. I also know they do not have meta descriptions. Are there any instances in which the Moz crawler would see them when they are not there?
