Re: I'm stuck by internal linking.
What structure should a football website follow? Silo or Topic Cluster?
I need advice on my website. My website: https://tipbongda247.net/
I hope there are answers!
Thanks -
Also I am having difficulties on internal links (and also on speed ...), also because when the pages grow in number, even if you had an initial strategy it becomes more and more difficult to follow it.
I would like to apply them as they do on this site that I am monitoring:

@JoelX Thanks for the tips. I'm going to apply these to my site. One other question - for a site where I have a page like https://guruseoservices.com/seo-services/ and then I want to create a page per city should I create this structure maintaining a flat URL structure --> /%city%-%state/province%-seo-services page or shift to a more siloed structure such as /%state%/%city%/%service% structure?

@thanhdung0906 For your site, I would suggest going with Silo as this will give you more flexibility to have a well optimized internal linking structure on your website.
Silo Content structure will also make it easier for the Google bots to crawl and index your website more efficiently, as well as help users to follow the clear path which will ultimately improve the website usability.@SeanAliGrowME You can definitely try to create some great blog posts around the topic or services you offer and include internal links to the Calgary SEO landing page. You can also try to create some internal linking from the different pages like Our Story, Digital Marketing, etc.
@honorway The best approach to handle the internal linking for a larger website is using Google Analytics and Search Console data. We would recommend checking through the GA and GSC data to identify the pages that are driving traffic to the website. Once you have the list of these pages, you can create internal links to the lower performing pages on your higher traffic pages.
For page load speed, I can see the website is on Wordpress so I would recommend removing the plugins that are not in use, get a CDN and make use of the plugins like WPRocket that will help you improve the page load speed.Thank you, actually there are many plugins installed, it would be better to try to delete some of them

I know that many use the internal linking strategy to encourage and increase visits to less strong pages, but I don't know how to do it. If anyone has any suggestions, I would like to apply them as they do on this site that I am monitoring: https://www.ilcamminodisantiago.net/ -
This is interesting. I am currently updating my internal links. Hey fellow mozers, care to answer the OP's question.
Also any suggestions for my page https://growmemarketing.ca/calgary-seo/? What would be the best internal linking strategy for the page?
Thank you

Internal/External link ratio
I have a client who ranked #3 for a very important and highly competitive keyword phrase. Using the 'Compare Pages' tool in open site explorer I could see that we were far better optimized than the two websites that were out ranking my client. Our PA was higher, the MozRank was higher, more internal and external links (and the external are all high quality) more linking C blocks etc.. etc... not just the page but the website, in general, was better optimized. The one thing I did notice was that although we had more internal and external links, our ratio was far heavier to the external side than the ratio of either competitor. So, at a loss of what else to do, I went through the website and beefed up the internal links to the specific page in question. I didn't over do it, just moved up from about 6% to about 12% (one competitor was at about 20% while the other was about 65%). Six days later we are number two rather than number three. Coincidence? Should I beef it up even more? Has anyone ever come across anything like this? Thank you for your comments in advance.

Best Link Analysis Tool?
Now that the Yahoo Site Explorer is not usable on sites unless they are in your Bing Webmaster Tools, what is the best tool out there to see an accurate list of inbound links to a site? Google tools are still pretty unreliable from what I can see...

Question regarding back link analysis and anchor text
Hello, I am looking at my competitors back link analysis and comparing a range of link based metrics from the top 10 SERPS. I am then putting this data into excel and comparing our back link profiles. When looking at the anchor text distribution i am not sure whether to look at exact match anchor or phrase match anchor. For example, one of the companies I am looking at holds positions 3 and 4 in the SERPS. Looking at their linking profile I can see that only 1.7% of their links use the exact match anchor 'widget'. Looking at their phrase match anchor is an entirely different story, 93.5% of anchor links contain 'widget' somewhere. i.e. 'cheap widgets', 'widget sale', 'buy widgets at www.examplewidget.co.uk' etc. Obviously their exact match and phrase match anchor distribution tell a completely different story. THIS IS TRUE FOR MANY OF THE TOP 10 SERPS. Therefore, should I be looking at phrase match anchors instead of exact? Side note: would people recommend targeting anchors with 'brandname widget' based on predictions of Google giving weighted anchor more weight. Robert.
