What is the exact difference between guest post and paid links?
-
@zeitnot When Google analyzes the post, it looks for some key things. One is a sponsored disclosure. It can say “sponsored,” “paid,” or “advertisement,” and should be easy to spot.
Google also checks the content to see if it’s promoting something specific. It may come as paid material if there’s a lot of promotional language or mentions of some products or brands without context.
Another thing Google looks for is affiliate links or patterns of content creation. If a website regularly posts sponsored or promotional content without saying so, it won’t appear as a high-quality source of information. -
The main difference between guest posting and paid links is that with guest posting, you're providing valuable content for free. With paid links, you're just paying for a link. So from Google's perspective, guest posts are seen as more trustworthy than paid links. That's because when someone publishes a guest post on another blog, it's usually because they've been given permission by the blog owner to do so. I've made some guest postings for my friend's website when he started with dropshipping, and I've managed to land a few great guest posts for him, that increased the DR of the site eventually. Now, not gonna lie here, it's definitely a harder way to go, but if you put in the effort and do it consistently you'll see great results with GP, without putting any risk to the business.

@zeitnot In Guest Posting, you add your Comments/ Blog content on a High authority website with a link to your website , While paid links refer to posts contributed to a website with monetary charge in exchange for quality backlinks

@zeitnot In paid guest posting, you get paid for writing a guest post, whereas for paid links, you pay to the linking site. If you want organic links to your site you can try a tool called Postifluence. It's one of the best & affordable SEO tool I have ever used. It helps to find the top ranking guest posting websites and brings high-quality backlinks from there.

Guest post are free, while the paid links require payment
.
Basically if you pay for guest post it will be counted as paid links. And google suggest using rel="sponsored" for this kind of links.
In reality we pay bloggers or webmasters for publishing guest post , which is not recommended by google.
-
@zeitnot The results shown on Google search are both ads and organic.
Paid results are created by users using Google ads where he/she introduces their ads to Google.
Organic results are shown on Google search results while a software called spider crawls a website and indexes them.

@Parker_Adam_916 thanks for fast response.
My second question is how google understands whether the post is paid or natural earn? -
Guest Post – A guest post is ananrticle written by someone else and posted on your website. You do not have to pay anyone to write a guest post. If the author is willing to share their knowledge, then they should be given credit for doing so.
Paid Link – A paid link is any aancle where the writer is being compensated for writing the content. Usually, these articles are sponsored posts. Sponsored posts are often written by people who work at companies that sell products related to the topic of the article. These companies may offer compensation to the writers of the posts in exchange for them promoting the company’s product.

Blog post outreach for backlinks
Hi all, My understanding of obtaining backlinks by way of blogpost outreach is that it's best to include several outbound links to related high domain websites within blog post copy (as well as a link to the website you're marketing, obviously) such as this post https://www.scoopearth.com/why-should-you-use-royalty-free-music-for-youtube-videos/ or this one https://small-bizsense.com/how-to-create-quality-content-for-your-business/. However, I've recently read a few articles that suggest that from a human perspective only having one clear link in the copy, such as this post https://www.clichemag.com/entertainment/movies/the-benefits-of-royalty-free-cinematic-music-for-your-videos/, increases the chance of the reader visiting the site in question. I guess the thinking is that if there's only one link to be clicked on it increases the chances of click-thru, as opposed to the reader possibly clicking on another external link that's only there because of current SEO advice. So is it best to follow SEO guidelines and include several outbound links within guest blog posts, or is it better to only have the one link to your client's site (to focus the readers attention on it)?

A link with "return false"- OSE sees as a No Followed Link
Hello, I couldn't find a clear answer to the impact on SEO for a link written in this way: [" class="expert_info" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">](w</span>ww.yourwebsite.com<span style=) [Does the "return false" act as a "no follow"? I came across this in our link data in Open Site Explorer which lists these links all as "no follows." However, an engineer I spoke to said that it shouldn't impact search engine behavior. Any ideas? Thank you in advance! -Sarah K.](w</span>ww.yourwebsite.com<span style=)

OSE shows links on sites but can't find links
Hi mozzers, I'm cleaning up our backlink profile and looking up anchortexts in OSE. I downloaded and selected one anchortext. However when I go to the sites OSE found, I can't find the links. I look in the source code and onpage keywords. Is it because of my lack of skills that I can't find the links 🙂 or isn't OSE working properly.

Link Building by Guest Posting.... But How many posts?
Hello I am a small Computer/Tech Blogger (part time) from India and following are my Domain stats: PR: 4 Alexa Rank: 65K *** Open Site Explorer Page Authority: 46/100** *** Open Site Explorer Domain Authority: 35/100** *** Open Site Explorer Linking Root Domain: 98** *** Open Site Explorer Total Links: 1196** *** mR: 4.83** *** mT: 5.81** Domain Age: 3 Years and 4 Months Blog Posts I made: around 580 I never spent ANY time in Link Building, only wrote content for my blog. I only attached my Blog URL in some BIG forums as a signature (never meant for link building, but later found that the signature section of some forums are DOFOLLOW) and very few sites linked/links to me/my articles. Reasons why I am asking question here: Majority of my blog posts ranks very well (top 10) on Google.co.in, but on Google.com, most of them are present from Page 2 - Page 10 - I want to rank my posts well on Google.com, Google.co.uk etc. SERP of Big sites remains static, but my position shuffles a lot. Sometimes any particular blog post of mine is on first page (on a particular Google Domain) and after some days/months, it shifts to 2nd or 3rd page! This happens a lot! As soon as Google Updates pagerank, many recent articles of mine will get atleast PageRank 2 or 3, but when pagerank in updated again, the pagerank of these very same articles drops! Very few articles of mine have static pagerank I am not a master in Computers/Tech and am not the first one on the internet to discover and write something UNIQUE/NEW, but I try to write detailed and good quality tutorials. If main keywords of my posts matches with the keywords of BIG domains, I never rank on first page, no matter I have written more detailed content compared to the content of these BIG sites! Google sends me traffic to majority of my blog posts by means of random keywords! I have decided to do Guest Posting on some blogs of similar niche and with Open Site Explorer Domain Authority ranging from 60 to 80. I will try my level best to write good content for them and they also allows Author Bio with a backlink to my Blog Homepage (in my case, the anchor text for this link will be my Blog Name) I want to ask following questions: Is one guest post with a backlink to my Homepage is enough? or I have to write more content for same domain? I have heard that, if you link to a website/blog which is linking to you, Google don't pass any juice to either of them because of reciprocal linking! - Is this true? The websites on which I am planning to do guest posts are very well established and trusted websites. Some of them have Open Site Explorer Domain Authority of 80+. Also, I never linked to them nor I am planning to do so! I request SEO Gurus here to please help me and I apologize in advance if I am wrong at any point. MY SEO concepts are not much clear and I am a newbie 🙂 Thanks and Regards

Blog traffic / link ratio? (Esimated of how much traffic will result in a link)
Hi, Was wondering if people could please tell me some estimates of how much traffic is likely to gain links to a blog post? For example 1,000 hits = 1 link, Hence 10,000 hits = 10 links to a blog post? I understand there is no magic ratio I just want to know what people have achieved. I’m after averages not just a one off really successful blog post too. Please specify the topic you achieve this in e.g. SEO, photography, business, heath... etc.

Link values
I have an interesting question, it's more to see other peoples opinions than looking for an exact answer, as I know noone can give that. If you had a good link on harvard.edu.. how many very low quality links on low DA domains that are full of junk, would you need to match the harvard link... if all other factors were equal. I'm gonna go for 500.. I've had great results with a few high DA/trust links. I'm not looking for anyone to give me a definative answer, just curious as to the views of other SEOs 😄

Is it safe to do a lot of links to a new post on an old domain?
Hi, I was wondering as far as being aggressive in link building can you add a lot of links to a new post on an aged domain? How many would you say is too much for the new pages if the over all domain has about 40k links? I am just wondering of a safe round about number monthly that can be done although I do realize this is site specific. I would trust your best guess. Thanks, ~JImmy
