Hello!
I have a problem. I'm using Rank Math for WordPress. But I can’t configure a basic thing such as <meta name="author" content="" />. I had to insert this code manually using the hook. Does anyone know a normal way to do this markup?
Example page: https://b-shoes.com/foot-shaped-shoes/
Thank you!

Thank you!Certainly! I completely understand your frustration with configuring the author meta tag in Rank Math for WordPress. While it may seem challenging at first, there is a simpler solution available. In Rank Math, you can easily set the author meta tag by navigating to the "Rank Math" section in your WordPress dashboard, selecting "https://captemp.pro/," and then updating the necessary fields. This allows you to achieve the desired markup without the need for manual code insertion using hooks. I hope this helps simplify the process for you!

Thank you!Hello @WayneM
Try the Following Solution :Temporarily Deactivate Plugins: Deactivate other plugins one by one to see if any conflict with Rank Math's author meta functionality. If you find a conflict, consider finding an alternative plugin or adjusting its settings.
Switch to a Default Theme: Switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Three to rule out theme-related issues. If the author meta tag works with a default theme, your current theme might need adjustments.
We are Happy To Help you.

@WayneM I understand your problem, but there is an easy way for it where you don't know need to do the coding. You can try HFCM plugin, it is in wordpress. It is very easy and hassle free, even a person who doesn't know anything about coding can do it. It is that easy.
Also, there is an agency named DigitalShivanshi, their SEO strategies been amazing. Hope that helps! -
If you're facing challenges configuring meta tags, including the author meta tag, using Rank Math for WordPress, consider checking the plugin settings for specific options related to meta tags. In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts/Pages. Look for an option to set the author meta tag and input the desired value.
If you can't find the specific option within Rank Math, you may need to use a workaround, such as manually inserting the code via hooks, as you've already done. Alternatively, you can explore other SEO plugins that may offer more granular control over meta tags.
Ensure that you are using the latest version of Rank Math, as updates may include new features or fixes. If the issue persists, you might consider reaching out to Rank Math's support or community forums for guidance on your specific concern.
Remember to backup your website before making significant changes, and test any alterations in a staging environment if possible.

@WayneM There is a simple way for adding "Author Tag" to your header section of the website.
You can use HFCM (Header Footer Code Manager) plugin in WordPress and put the code manually very easily. And one more thing, HFCM plugin is safe and reliable. You can use it without any worry.
Also if you are looking for SEO audit of your website to handle these types of errors. Then you can Visit SBA Services, they are the Best Digital Marketing Agency and are also providing free Website Audit to their users.

No worries, I can assist you. To set the author meta tag in Rank Math for WordPress without manual coding, follow these steps:
Navigate to your WordPress dashboard.
Go to "Rank Math" in the sidebar.
Click on "Titles & Meta" and then the "Other" tab.
Find "Author Meta" and input the desired content.
Save changes.
Rest assured, I've ensured this works for desert safari dubai as well, incorporating the manual step. -
@WayneM Navigate to the "General Settings" and then access "Titles & Meta." Within the "Home" tab, locate the "Author's Name" field, where you can input the desired content for the author meta tag. Once entered, save your changes, ensuring that the author information is now embedded in your website's metadata. i applied same method you can on that page "https://topfollowapkdownload.in/" if you didn't got any results you can knock me again

Unsolved What should I do with WordPress Blog homepage
Hi, I have a large WordPress blog with thousands of posts. By default, the blog homepage contains the excerpt of each posts. As there are so many posts, the homepage is paginated(Totally 1341 pages) I use siteliner to check and find a lot of duplicate contents on the blog homepage. So, what should I do with it? Should I noindex the homepage and all the paginated pages accordingly? Thank you

301 Redirects from example.com to store.example.com and then removing store.example.com subdomain
Hi I'm trying to wrap my head around the best approach for migrating our website. We're migrating from our example.com (joomla) site to our existing store.example.com (shopify) site... with the plan to finish the redirects/migration then remove the subdomain from shopify and use example.com moving forward. I've never done this and asking here to see if any harm will come from re-directing example.com URLs to store.example.com URL's then changing the store.example.com URL's to example.com. Right now my plan would run like this: redirect example.com URL's to store.example.com remove subdomain on store.example.com use example.com moving forward. wonder what happens next? Is there going to be any issues here, possible harm to the URL's?

Duplicated titles and meta descriptions
Hi, Dealing with both my duplicated titles and meta descriptions i'm wondering if there's a "quick" win I could potentially implement asap. A bit of background:
Technical SEO | | GhillC
Say I've 4 pages structured that way: domain.com/us/productA.html for the US domain.com/gb/productA.html the UK domain.com/fr/productA.html for France domain.com/de/productA.html For Germany At the moment, both my page titles and meta-descriptions are duplicated all over the place for product A.
Title is reading "Product A - company name"
MD is a bit better, being translated in all 3 languages (En, Fr, DE). Therefore being the same for the US and for the UK. Ideally, I would get unique page titles and MD all over the place. However, due to time and resource constraints, I can't make it happen overnight. So my questions are pretty simple:
1. Can I create a rule for page titles to be "Product A - country - company name" or similar? Would that be enough to make the page titles unique? Is there any value doing so?
2. Can I "localize" duplicate MD by simply naming the country? I assume it is not enough in this case as all the rest would be copy/pasted. Ideally speaking, both my page titles and MD would be completely unique but I can't afford doing so in the short term. Thanks!0 -

Google using descriptions from other websites instead of site's own meta description
In the last month or so, Google has started displaying a description under links to my home page in its search results that doesn't actually come from my site. I have a meta description tag in place and for a very limited set of keywords, that description is displayed, but for the majority of results, it's displaying a description that appears on Alexa.com and a handful of other sites that seem to have copied Alexa's listing, e.g. similarsites.com. The problem is, the description from these other sites isn't particularly descriptive and mentions a service that we no longer provide. So my questions are: Why is Google doing this? Surely that's broken behaviour. How do I fix it?

Domain authority and rankings?
I have a site that sits in #1 position for its keywords right now. But it only got there about 1mth ago. The site is only about 6mths old with lots of link building. I check the domain authority and its only 37/100 with the #2, #3 sites having domain authority of 57 and 82 respectively. This site has like 800+ backlinks. While the #2 and #3 sites have 20,000+ backlinks. Does it mean that my site will LIKELY drop in rankings very soon? I know there is no certainty but wld you say that it is highly probable my site will drop?
