Is there any importance of email signature links from SEO perspective?

We see website links in email signatures. As recently Google has changed its inbox format showing social email (Google+) separately. Is there any importance of email signature links from SEO perspective?
-
Since your emails are not indexed by Google, no.
Of course, as a general business practice, what to include in your signature is up for discussion. It can certainly generate traffic. Google claims not to pay attention to Google Analytics data including traffic sources etc. so it is unlikely to have any benefit other than the direct traffic from the person visiting your site.

I'd largely agree with Ron, although there could be a small secondary factor. Many believe that having traffic from a broad range of sources sends a strong quality signal to Google. Links from your emails would count in that respect.
Really though the question is whether adding those links would be useful for the people reading the email. If they would then add them. Whether or not there is any "SEO benefit" you'll still have happier recipients. Good thing.
If not, then don't bother. If it isn't helpful for them then they won't click the links so no benefit anyway.
It's also worth remembering that most email spam filters look at links in email. Each links will add a little to the likelihood that your email doesn't reach it's intended recipient - so only include them if they're doing a job.

If these links are going to be posted on line somehow, otherwise no

IP and SEO
We have a lot sites we've built sitting on the same IP as our web site. Given that a lot of web companies rely quite heavily on the backlinks they get from their clients (some rather dubious footer links are common in this space), are we getting the most out of these valuable backlinks by sharing the same IP?

Manual Links Vs. Smart Links
Hey Everybody, Is there any downside to the smart link plugins that I see all over wordpress? Basically in short I enter a keyword and where I want that link to go (primarily internal) and set the parameters of repetition etc and it automatically adds the link to that. Now other than the obvious situation where it might put a link in an awkward place, is there anything wrong with this sort of software? Part of me things that this sort of software would not be liked by Google, and that it isn't really getting counted as a true link, but i wanted to see if there were other thoughts or experience with this.

AllTop Linking Me to Other Sites Feeds, Webmasters Reporting Lots of Broken Links
I submitted my blog to All Top awhile ago and something seems to be wrong with their feed. They're sending people to mysite.com/truth-o-meter.com/this-is-a-post. It's not just truth-o-meter either. I'm getting links that are supposed to go to all kinds of political blogs. As a result, I'm getting a ton of broken links reported on Google Webmasters. I couldn't find any real support option on alltop.com, and when I log in, there are no sites for me to manage. Instead, I resubmitted the site with the correct feed address and in the comments, I mentioned the problem. All I got was a message saying the site was rejected. I believe because I already added the site. But I'm thinking they didn't pay attention to the comments. (In fact the message may have gone through an auto-filter considering how quickly it was rejected.) Is there a way to solve this? Is this a situation in which I would use the disavow tool? If All Top continues to create bad links, how do I stop the issue once and for all? Thanks!

Links from any country?
My site is aimed primarily at the UK, 90% of the traffic is from the UK and most of my links are from other UK based and UK targetted websites. The content is actually fairly international (apart from certain terms like Plasterboard instead of Drywall, etc). My question is: Should I concentrate on gathering links from the UK, or should I widen my search and try to get links from US and European websites? Are there any particular advantages or disadvantages to keeping links "local"?
