We send out millions of emails a year and are happy with Vertical Response as our provider.
We keep researching the competition and have found that Constant Contact is exceptionally easy to use, Bronto integrates well with all other Social Media / marketing platforms, MailChimp is a joy to work with but Vertical Response just keep cutting their prices!
Hope this helps!
-
Hi! for SEOmoz specifically we use Bronto for our newsletter, our Moz Top 10 email and many other emails. For Client management we use Infusionsoft, although we also have lots of info that we've built into our own database.
We're also lucky to have really excellent in-house designers who help us with our website and keep us consistent and usable!
I hope I was able to answer your questions.
Please feel free to ask more!
Thanks,
Jen

I have used several different services for newsletters depending on what a particular client has set up already. Constant Contact has proven to be the easiest to use and most reliable. Besides that, a solid in-house email server with custom interface can also be great if that is an option.

MailChimp is whats up. Its free for the first 2500 subscribers. Can't beat there statistics either. They are legit.
-
Hi there,
We also use Mail Chimp http://www.mailchimp.com - very clever system, easy to use. Has a good level of free account sends and subscribers to get used to how it works. Also has a good sense of humour and integrates with many other platforms easily, such as Facebook, Twitter, Magento, PayPal etc.
I'm not entirely sure what else you are asking.

Research is the cornerstone of SEO. Just a little of it will answer you newsletter question . Hi there. You probably found this page because one of our subscribers used MailChimp to send you an email campaign, and you traced a link in the email back here to investigate. MailChimp is an email-marketing service that serves more than 600,000 companies of all shapes and sizes, from all over the world. We send more than 40 million emails every day, and we help our customers comply with spam laws and best practices so they can get their campaigns into their subscribers' inboxes.

Trailing Slashes and SEO
Hi, We're currently using a third party blog platform (Blog Engine) on our site and we have a trailing slash issue. I can add as many trailing slashes as I want to the blog's homepage URL, but they don't redirect and our dev guys say this cannot be done with Blog Engine. We're in the process of building our own blog but, in the meantime, I just wanted to know if this will cause an issue? Individual blog posts with trailing slashes are redirected, it's just the homepage where it can't be done. I haven't noticed any traffic going to a blog URL with trailing slashes, and I don't believe any URLs with trailing slashes are being indexed, so should this be OK? Cheers, Lewis

Rel canonical question
Hi, I have an e-commerce site hosted on Volusion currently the rel canonical link for the homepage points to www.store.com/default.asp. I spoke with the Volusion support people and they told me that whether the canonical link points to store.com/default.asp or store.com does not really matter as long as there is a canonical version. I thought this sounded odd, so looked at other websites hosted on volusion and some sites canonicalize to default.asp and others .com. (volusion.com canonicalizes to .com fwiw). The question is...I have a majority of my external links going to www.store.com , and since that page has default.asp as it canonical version, am I losing link juice from those incoming links? If so, should I change the canonical link? If I do what are the potential issues/penalties? Hopefully this question makes sense and thanks in advance.

Title Length Question?
So we have a lot of UGC on our site and so the title of pages is often created by the user and this has created about 400 pages with over 70 characters and I was just wondering what people think. I know typically keeping them short and sweet is the best thing, but what about when it's the user doing it? Should I go ahead and cut off the titles at 70 characters or keep them? I don't see it hurting traffic so I'm basically just looking for opinions right now.

How to start more deep seo.
Okay, lets say that I already fixed all my technical seo stuff. All my crawl errors and warnings are gone. Now I really want to start seo so I have a few questions. 1. I know I should work based on a page and not on a domain, so it means I should choose which keyword to optimize each page for? only one keyword per page? or it might be more? 2. Some keywords are very competitive for me, example for my site www.theprinterdepo.com, the best keyword to rank would be printers, but it would take years a beginner to do that, what should I do? 3. If highly competitive keywords are not an option, which keywords shuold I use? the ones that have more global monthly searches? Thanks

URL Structure Question
Hey folks, I have a weird problem and currently no idea how to fix it. We have a lot of pages showing up as duplicates although they are the same page, the only difference is the url structure. They seem to show up like: http://www.example.com/page/ and http://www.example.com/page What would I need to do to force the URLs into one format or the other to avoid having that one page counting as two? The same issue pops up with upper and lower case: http://www.example.com/Page and http://www.example.com/page Is there any solution to this or would I need to forward them with 301s or similar? Thanks, Mike

Anything and everything helps. So far I have run the crawl diagnostics and I'm working on fixing the errors. Thanks fr your help.
