Redirection

Hi
I used to have an online shop at https://shop.domain.co.uk. I have since done a new website and and want to divert all traffic to https://domain.co.uk/shoppage. The old shop was a subdomain but the new site has a shop on the normal domain.
In Moz I am getting a lot of errors with missing descriptions and URL too long.
so for example one of the urls
<dl class="crawl-page-details-list">
<dd class="crawl-page-details-list-emphasis">https://shop.domain.co.uk/product-category/great-merchandise/?product_order=desc are like this. I would like to redirect them all to the new shop page. </dd>
<dd class="crawl-page-details-list-emphasis">The missing descriptions are all similar. </dd>
<dd class="crawl-page-details-list-emphasis">Is there a way I can redirect all these issues without doing them manually?</dd>
<dd class="crawl-page-details-list-emphasis">Thanks </dd>
</dl>

Hi there,
The URL structure will remain the same? If so, in the .htaccess file of the subdomain, you should add the following after the RewriteEngine On:
RewriteEngineOn
RewriteCond%{HTTP_HOST}^shop.domain.co.uk$[NC]
RewriteRule(.*)https://www.domain.co.uk/$1 [R=301,L]
this should do the trick to redirect https://shop.domain.co.uk/product-category/great-merchandise/?product_order=desc to https://www.domain.co.uk/product-category/great-merchandise/?product_order=desc
I hope this helped

Solved Would my site's DA be transferred if I redirect to another?
Re: How to create link from google redirect? I am thinking of changing my domain name from https://experts.ng to https://expertsclan.com and wondering if my DA could be transferred to the new site

Links>TopPages: Mostly image URLs: Good for SEO? Redirect obsolete ones??
Looking at my "Links > Top Pages" report shows the top fifteen being image URLs (jpg files). Weird or normal? Clicking the "View Links" icon for a few of the image URL's shows that the best links in the list have DA in the 30's and 40's, and some PA in the 20's. But the linking sites have names that SOUND pretty crappy (from sites with names that sound weird or spammy) QUESTION 1: Do links to image URLs... A) help the overall SEO of the site's HTML pages, B) only help the specific page the image appears on, C) or are they of no value to the regular pages? QUESTION 2: What to do with the obsolete images? (images still hosted on our site, but do not appear on any pages) If I remove the images, the links will be lost. Which is good if the links are hurting us, but it would be bad for our SEO if the links are helping (unless we 301 the obsolete images to current ones) Thanks!

SEO impact of redirecting high ranking mirror site to the main website
During SEO audit for a client I noticed that they had over a dozen duplicate websites that are carbon copies of the main website. This was done via CMS platform and DNS. One of the mirror sites has about 400 indexed pages and has Moz DA of 42 and 137k External Equity-Passing Links. Full metrics comparison is attached. I originally planned on doing rel="canonical" on the mirror site but the CMS vendor never even heard of it and is refusing to implement it in the header. My only other option is doing one to one 301 redirects. Since the mirror site ranks well, even competes with main domain for some positions on the 1st page of SERP, what will be the impact after the redirects? Is doing 301's still the best option? Thanks! "redirects" with no "redirect address"?
Episode 2 of "Damon the idiot noob" web series . . . I have like . . ..90 plus temporary redirects in my moz "medium priority diagnostics". But the majority of them have a url, but no redicret url. How can it be a temporary redirect if there is no redirect address? Some of the addresses simply don't make any sense. Like: http://www.thirdcoastsigns.com/catalog/seo_sitemap/product How on earth would a "seo_sitemap" be followed my a "/product"? This is a Magento site, so I know some of these things get created automatically . .. but what on earth is going on here? Help welcome, appreciated, and welcome. Did I mention it is welcome and appreciated?

Magento- Temporary Redirects
Hey guys! My organization just launched an eCommerce site and we are receiving a lot of temporary redirect issues. How do you solve this issue (36k of them) within Magento Enterprise? 1. All settings have been changed to 301 redirects but I am still receiving the same errors during my crawl report. 2. Website URL = www.CanyonOS.com Any support or advice is greatly appreciated! Oh and if you need any toner, you know where to go :)! Sincerely,

301 Redirects - But still duplicate content?
Our website domain website.com redirects to website.com/en (since it's in English). Therefore, all pages on website.com redirects to website.com/en. In my Moz analytics, it says I have duplicate content, and lists all of these pages. Didn't the 301 redirects take care of the duplicate content? Or do I still have to add canonical tags?

Way too many 301 redirects
Hi Guys Posting here again in regard to 301 redirects, SEOMOZ has just finished my second crawl, and its showing me nearly 4k 301 redirects, i am only tracking my new site which by the way changed domain name , however all im doing is tracking the new domain and there are no 301 implemented on that side (Except Canonical), so was wondering how SEOMoz is finding 4k of redirects. do you think it could be chaining somewhere ? as all the tests look good or could there be a problem with the reporting

Why is my site showing a redirect that doesn't exist?
I have two sites. www.plasticandfoampackaging.com www.flyfitters.com Previously I had flyfitters 301 redirecting to plasticandfoampackaging. I stopped that about a month ago. I moved the nameservers and stopped the redirect. I am a novice but it seems to be working perfectly. However, SEOMOZ is showing that the redirect still exists. Does the site need to be recrawled or do I need to update the info somewhere? Please advise. Thanks Patrick
