Hi there!
That's because they aren't based on search volume. Keyword Difficulty takes into account the Page Authority (PA) and Domain Authority (DA) scores of the sites ranking on the first page of Google for the given query. We also modify intelligently for the projected click-through-rate of a given page. This puts more weight on higher-ranking, more visible pages and less on lower-ranking, less visible pages. The formula also accounts for newer pages on powerful domains that may have DA scores but have not yet been assigned PA values.
You can read more about the Keyword Explorer Metrics in our Guide.
I hope this helps to clarify - if there's anything else I can help you with, feel free to reach out!

Unsolved Mistake on keyword stuffing detection(in my view)
Hello!
Moz Bar | | Seoman45
In Mozbar, optimization factors
"Avoid Keyword Stuffing in Document"
If a blog (or any other page) publishes an article, and that article attracts a considerable number of questions, it is inevitable to prevent repeating the keyword on that page. In other words, using keywords by users in comments should not be considered as "Keyword Stuffing". In my view, if this is true, you need to optimize the detection of "Keyword Stuffing".
By the way, thanks for the valuable service and tools for SEO.

Significant difference with DA scores on Moz Chrome app VS Website Tool
I saw a big difference between DA scores on Moz Chrome app VS Website Tool. Which DA score is the correct one? I personally believe the scores on Moz's site is most accurate. Do you happen to have issues syncing the scored to your Chrome app? Chrome App VS. Moz Research Tool (https://mza.bundledseo.com/researchtools/ose/)

Keyword explorer tool - keywords by domain functionality
Hi, We have issues with the new searching for keywords by root domain functionality in keyword explorer. We are based in Australia and need rankings for google.com.au, which is what we have set up within our MOZ campaign ranking reports. The explorer tool rankings are way off and not accurate for our site's actual rankings. Also, many of the top, high volume keywords that we are tracking and for which we rank on first page for are not even appearing when I do an explorer search using our root domain. Is the root domain functionality within keyword explorer providing results based on google.com rather than google.com.au? Does this mean that if we are outside the US that we can't use the tool as it is not accurate? Cheers, Damien

Keyword Explorer is Now Live; Ask Me Anything About It!
Howdy gang - as you probably saw, we launched our biggest new tool in Pro in many years today: https://mza.bundledseo.com/explorer If you're a Moz Pro subscriber, you've already got access. We went ahead and gave folks who were at $99/month before today 300 queries/month. If you're signing up new, $99/month doesn't have KW Explorer access, but the other levels - at $149/month and above, do (5,000+ queries/month). You can read the blog post here for lots of details, but if you have questions or product suggestions, please don't hesitate to ask!

How is the Moz keyword limit for each plan determined?
I'm sure it's explained somewhere in here but I haven't found it yet so hoping someone can help: I'm on the Pro Basic plan, which allows me 300 keywords. How is the 300 keywords counted? For example, if I've uploaded 100 keywords in the Keyword Difficulty tool, and am also Rank Tracking an additional 75 keywords for a client, is that 75 kw's, 100 kw's, or 175 kw's? Put another way, if I hypothetically do rank tracking for 300 keywords, does that mean I'm not able to enter additional keywords in the Keyword Difficulty tool without deleting some of the kw's from existing accounts? Thanks for the help!

Keyword Difficulty Score Meter: how to interpret levels
I'm hoping to find what percentages change the levels for the difficulty score meter in the keyword difficulty tool. For example, when does a blue -- non-competitive -- move into the green level, and so forth. Also, I can't find the description (names?) of all the levels (highly competitive, non-competitive, etc). Thanks for your help.
