Missing Cache - very strange

Anyone have experience with a cache going missing from a page that had a cache in the past? We’re overhauling a page and noticed the cache was gone from Google results. We don’t know if this event is good/bad/doesn’t matter but I am curious why this happens. I am positive the cache was missing before we updated the page today because a programmer mentioned they did try checking for a cache for a historical load time prior to today for a different project. I have attached two screenshots to illustrate two things:
1) What google delivers for a cache: of the page instead of the normal cache page
2) Even though you can see a cache of any of the indexed pages we have from a serp, the cached link is missing in serps for the mentioned page
Has anyone seen this before?

no, not to large, it was the third most popular page behind the homepage. Whole page size is around 3mb.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I was logged in but I also had three other people (different IPs) check the search and we all received the same result. We all also had &pws=0. One of my concerns and one reason we adjusted the page was page size. Did the page you have in mind have a large page size or a long load time?

This is normal Google behavior. If you attempt to search for a page's cache using the "cache:" prefix, then if Google does not have the cached page but does have the page indexed, they will share the normal search result.

I noticed this a little while ago too, it lasted for a little over a week but eventually showed up again though. I looked around for feed back on it to see why and came across a couple of instances (a little more elaborate than what I was experiencing albeit), but this post talks about it a little:

It's possible you or your results might be part of a test case for a new google release. Were you logged in? Maybe try from a different IP see if the results are the same...

Pages with Title Missing or Empty
When I crawl my site MOZ gave me 275 Pages with Title Missing or Empty within the High Priority Issues. So I went I reviewed it and the pages are Tag's that I use in my Blog posts. New theme I am working in ads ?v=1d20b5ff1ee9 to every URL. Theme developer says its a server setting issue. GoDaddy support says its part of cache an becoming prevalent in new themes. How does this impact SEO?

Strange Crawl Report
Hey Moz Squad, So I have kind of strange case. My website locksmithplusinc.com has been around for a couple years. I have had all sorts of pages and blogs that have maybe ranked for a certain location a longtime ago and got deleted so I could speed up the site and consolidate my efforts. I said that because I think that might be part of the problem. When I was crawl reporting my site just three weeks ago on moz I had over 23 crawl report issues. Duplicate pages, missing meta tags the regular stuff. But now all of a sudden when I crawl report on MOZ it comes up with Zero issues. So I did another crawl On google analytic and this is what came up. SO im very confused because none of these url's are even url's on my site. So maybe people are searching for this stuff and clicking on broken links that are still indexed and getting this 404 error? What do you guys think? Google Cache showing a different URL
Hi all, very weird things happening to us. For the 3 URLs below, Google cache is rendering content from a different URL (sister site) even though there are no redirects between the 2 & live page shows the 'right content' - see: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://giltedgeafrica.com/tours/ http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://giltedgeafrica.com/about/ http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://giltedgeafrica.com/about/team/ We also have the exact same issue with another domain we owned (but not anymore), only difference is that we 301 redirected those URLs before it changed ownership: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.preferredsafaris.com/Kenya/2 http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.preferredsafaris.com/accommodation/Namibia/5 I have gone ahead into the URL removal Tool and got denied for the first case above ("") and it is still pending for the second lists. We are worried that this might be a sign of duplicate content & could be penalising us. Google rankings strange behaviour - our site can only be found when searching repeatedly
Hello, We are experiencing something very odd at the moment I hope somebody could shed some light on this. The rankings of our site dropped from page 2 to page 15 approx. 9 months ago. At first we thought we had been penalised and filed a consideration request. Google got back to us saying that there was no manual actions applied to our site. We have been working very hard to try to get the ranking up again and it seems to be improving. Now, according to several serps monitoring services, we are on page 2/3 again for the term "holiday lettings". However, the really strange thing is that when we search for this term on Google UK, our site is nowhere to be found. If you then right away hit the search button again searching for the same term, then voila! our website is on www.alphaholidaylettings.com page 2 / 3! We tried this on many different computers at different locations (private and public computers), making sure we have logged out from Google Accounts (so that customised search results are not returned). We even tried the computers at various retail outlets including different Apple stores. The results are the same. Essentially, we are never found when someone search for us for the first time, our site only shows up if you search for the same term for the second or third time. We just could not understand why this is happening. Somebody told me it could be due to "Google dance" when indices on different servers are being updated, but this has now been going on for nearly 3 months. Has anyone experienced similar situations or have any advice? Many thanks!

Missing files in Google and Bing Index
We uploaded our sitemap a while back and we are no longer see around 8 out of 33 pages. We try submitting the sitemap again about 1-2 weeks ago and there but no additional pages are seen when I do site: option in both search engines. I reviewed the sitemap and it includes all the pages. I am not seeing any errors in the seo moz for these pages. Any ideas what I should try?

Error: Missing Meta Description Tag on pages I can't find in order to correct
This seems silly, but I have errors on blog URLs in our WordPress site that I don't know how to access because they are not in our Dashboard. We are using All in One SEO. The errors are for blog archive dates, authors and just simply 'blog'. Here are samples: http://www.fateyes.com/2012/10/
