Hello,
I'm using this code in my thank you page to track ecommerce sales in GA.
The problem that I'm having is that in the google event the _trackPageview doesn't register the proper page but puts the url of the ecommerce website.
The transaction is properly tracked.
Any ideas of what could be the issue looking at this code? Maybe there could be other code could be causing the problem?
Thanks a lot.
I looked at http://yoast.com/google-page-title/ and it seems that google sometimes takes the liberty to change the title of the page displayed in the results.
That's probably the reason why this is happening.
Thanks for the info. I'm using Yoast SEO on wordpress to put the title of the page.
I've tried changing the title removing the -. Let's see what happens.
But as you suggested I've checked another page
if you type "Download PhraseExpander" in google the proper title is not returned again.
The title that is returned is: "Download - PhraseExpander" but the title of the page is <title>Free PhraseExpander Trial - Try our text expander software for free</title>
I did a test and noticed that titles are properly returned in Bing (but not in google). What could be the issue?
Thanks.
Andrea
I noticed that google is not showing the proper title in the search results. If you search for PhraseExpander, the title that google reports is:
PhraseExpander: Text Expander for Windows
but in the title of the page I've set Text Expander for Windows - PhraseExpander
Why is that? How can I make google report the proper title?
Thanks.
Andrea
I noticed that new links are not displayed for my domain (new links have been added yesterday). How is that? My site is http://www.phraseexpander.com
Thanks.

I'm currently using XML Sitemap for Videos that generates the video sitemap.
Is that enough? I also saw this plug in http://yoast.com/wordpress/video-seo/ and it looks like you can display video snippets even if the video are hosted on youtube.
What's your experience?
Thanks.
Andrea
My domain is www.phraseexpander.com
If I search for phraseexpander in google, I'm in the first position (as it should be) but google is not giving extra space to my result as it happens, for example, if you search for "fogbugz".
Is there any way I can hep google index my contents (I currently have a site index that is created by Yoast SEO).
Thanks a lot.

What's the proper way to have google display a video near the search result for my webpage (I'm using LeadPlayer to play videos).
I think that the information regarding the video is there (I also submitted a video sitemap) but when I do a search the author picture is displayed instead of the video.
Have I set anything wrong? How can I display the video if my post contains a video?
You can try searching "phraseexpander create customizable templates"
There's my youtube video and then the result from my webpage http://www.phraseexpander.com
I would like to display the video as a result.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the feedback. I saw a few other websites reported this as an error. I wonder if I should add a redirect for the sitemap.xml file to the sitemap_index.xml.
I've installed the Yoast SEO Plugin for wordpress and I've setup the sitemaps using it.
I saw the tool has generated the Sitemap index file http://www.phraseexpander.com/sitemap_index.xml
with different indexes for posts and pages
I've submitted that to google and it's indexed.
When I use Seoquake to check my website, I see that it says that the sitemap is missing (in fact http://www.phraseexpander.com/sitemap.xml) is returning 404.
Shall I fix that? Shall I do a 301 redirect in my .htaccess file to http://www.phraseexpander.com/sitemap_index.xml
Thanks.
