How to Attribute Moz API Data

If you have access to the Moz Links API, you must follow our attribution and branding requirements.

Attribution Requirements

When displaying Moz API data (links, metrics, and anchor text), use one of our approved logos and link it to https://mza.bundledseo.com. The logo must be clickable and link to https://mza.bundledseo.com, and you're welcome to link using rel=nofollow; we just want users to be able to click the logo and get to our site.

The logo must be placed in the same context as the displayed metric. The logo should be placed in such a way as to make it apparent that the metric is provided by Moz.

Branding Requirements

You may not white-label our metrics. When you display data from Moz API, you must label it as originating from the Moz API.

Brand Authority – You may not call our Brand Authority by any other name. For example, you may not call it "MyBrand Metric." The 'B' in 'Brand' must always be capitalized. The 'A' in 'Authority' must always be capitalized.

Page Authority – You may not call our Page Authority by any other name. For example, you may not call it "MyBrand Metric." The 'P' in 'Page' must always be capitalized. The 'A' in 'Authority' must always be capitalized.

Domain Authority – You may not call our Domain Authority by any other name. For example, you may not call it "MyBrand Metric." The 'D' in 'Domain' must always be capitalized. The 'A' in 'Authority' must always be capitalized.

Spam Score – You may not call our Spam Score by any other name. For example, you may not call it "MyBrand Metric." The 'S' in 'Spam' and 'Score' must always be capitalized.

Legal Information

Access to Moz API is separate from Moz Pro membership, but any use of Moz API still is subject to Moz's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using the Moz API, you agree to Moz's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and the restrictions contained on this page. Access to the Moz API may be suspended or terminated at any time and for any reason, with or without cause. If your access to the Moz API is cancelled, you are not entitled to a refund of any kind. Moz may discontinue providing the Moz API service at any time and for any reason. Moz API customers must follow all attribution and branding requirements communicated by Moz.

Terms of Use for Moz API Beta

SEOmoz, Inc. ("Moz"), at its sole discretion, may offer beta services (the "Beta Service") to select, interested Moz customers from time to time. In order to use the Beta Service, you must not work for a Moz competitor on a full-time, part-time, freelance, or contract basis. By using the Beta Service, you agree to provide feedback, including participating in a case study and video testimonials, to Moz regarding the Beta Service upon Moz's request. You agree that Moz shall have a royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, sublicenseable, irrevocable, perpetual license to use or incorporate into the Beta Service any suggestions, enhancement requests, recommendations or other feedback you provide relating to the operation of the Beta Service. Access to the Beta Service may be dependent upon your Moz subscription plan. Any data you receive via the Beta Service may only be used for your internal business purposes. BY ACCESSING THE BETA SERVICE, YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY PROVISION CONTAINED HEREIN, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS THE BETA SERVICE. You acknowledge and agree that Moz offers the Beta Service "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, and subject to these terms. You assume all risks associated with the Beta Service. Moz shall have no obligation to maintain, correct, update, change, modify, or otherwise support the Beta Service. Moz may discontinue providing the Beta Service at any time. Moz will not be liable for any damages of any kind, including any lost revenue, lost profits, or other incidental or consequential damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages by reason of any performance or non-performance under these terms.
