I have this doubt for a long and i want to share it with you.

In our agency many clients have a PHP template for the home page of their sites, and also have a blog with wordpress as CMS.

When i am optimizing sitemaps, I have two separate files, an index of Sitemaps created with Wordpress SEO by Yoast (which inside has separate Sitemaps tags, categories, posts, pages, authors, etc.) and on the other hand the home page sitemap with the subsections.

As you know the sitemap generated by "Wordpress SEO by Yoast" is dynamic as it creates the sitemap according to current site content, and is updated every time a new entry is raised or modify any URL. This makes it very practical.

I can not have a unique index sitemap sitemaps nesting inside another, as it is not allowed by Google or Sitemap protocol. I read in the Google Support you can upload multiple sitemaps to Search Console but does not say anywhere on upload multiple sitemaps index, or a combination thereof.

In my case, I would have to upload two separately files, the dynamically generated with wordpress and the manual created for the PHP template.

In my opinion there is no problem and Google will index everything properly performing it this way, but I wanted to share it with you to see how you solve this problem and what experiences had.

It has not happened to me that Google rewrites the meta tag descriptions but sometimes it happened to me with the title tag. I understand that while it is always best to specify each page these tags, Google could rewrite and use one better if found a more relevant text.

As each query is a different search, the same page could be affected or not by rewriting descriptions (or titles) for different keywords.

MOZ explains that meta tag descriptions is not a direct Google Ranking factor that but it does help a lot in the CTR to increase the number of users who click on the SERPs.

I think that having the correct descriptions tags on each page (avoiding duplicate) is still a step in the on page optimization to consider and i always check and optimized it on my clients.

As far as I know, there is no way to prevent that rewriting titles or descriptions happen, although I suspect that if Google chooses a new, should be the best one that produces more CTR.

Hi MOZ friends.

Last week, when i was following up the backlinks linking to my domain, i detect that a new website from an unknown administrator copies the content of an entire section of my website.

The administrator of that webpage did not remove the internal links on the post, so i could find.
My website has a better domain and page authority and we focus every day on create new content, but when we found people that only copy content from another, i feel disappointed.

But then I got to thinking that could be good that people copy our content, although they did not quote us. If they do not remove the links either by mistake or on purpose, we receive new backlinks.

¿What do you think about this? ¿Is really good that a website copy our content?

If they remove all backlinks, Is risky that Google detects that the content owner is another?

¿What do you do in this cases?

This article in point 4 aleyda solis says we should not redirect traffic as do most do, but suggest to visitors that there is a version of another country / language.
What do you think about this ?

The DA is now rising again recovering the previous value.
Another thing that surprised me when analyzing changes DA was the large variation in total recorded by MOZ links, which is why I suspected a problem with the algorithm MOZ. I uploaded a picture to show what I mean.
In October the number of links to all the sites I'm comparing dropped a lot, and now in December rose at an even greater value than they had in July.

I work in an digital marketing agency in Argentina and since we have a lot of traffic from other Spanish-speaking countries like Mexico and Spain, we want to rank specific keywords for these countries.
We were thinking of putting new versions of the homepage in subfolders, for example /es/ for Spain, /mx/ to Mexico, etc. In these new subfolders we would place a very similar version of the homepage with a few minor modifications to work specific keywords in each country. For example, in Spain it is more searched "marketing online", and "marketing digital" is more used in Mexico and Argentina.
I have understood that to implement this we would be to place a label hrflang on the homepage directing visitors and crawlers to the correct version of each country. Is it ok?
Another concern is, whether they are very similar pages, Google does not take it as duplicate content ..

And i am not completely sure about using subfolders for each country, but i dont know how to position diferents keywords for diferent countries.

I want to know if there exist a way to track the mobile user experience, for example, how many times scroll down the page, where touch the screen, and actions that only have sense with mobile visitors.

Hi.This may be a google technical question, but I've searched a lot and I couldn't find any certain information about that.The problem appears when you look at two stats in Search Console ( WebMasters Tools, some months ago), particulary in the Search Analysis.1- Total clicks2- Sum of clicks at every search query.I attached an image to make me clear.8IZsxs6.png

I've noticed that several websites have lost DA since middle of october. I attached a picture. Could be this a MOZ internal issue like happened a time ago? Not only the DA get down, I have lost C-blocks links, too
I check in http://health.moz.com/ and found this Crawl Services Outage: http://health.moz.com/incidents/fbn00m7xxzx2
But not appear to have direct relation with my question.
Or may be a google algoritm update?
